You hard work is appreciated. I have read the Bible in English quite a few times. I am 70 years old and determined to read the Hebrew Bible. Your classes are so hopeful. The vowels are the hard part. I would like to see how you write those letters. I have made some flash cards but the drawing of the letter has to be perfect since a few look alike. I am starting your lessons again for the second time. Again, thank you much for all the time you have put into helping others read Biblical Hebrew. Mark Smaha

Shalom Mark and thank you for learning with me. If you would like to learn to write the letters, there are many free tools for it online. Here is a link for a great free download for you to print and practice writing the letters in block form (we do have cursive letters too): school.walla.co.il/documents/%D7%93%D7%A4%D7%99%20%D7%A2%D7%91%D7%95%D7%93%D7%94%20%D7%9C%D7%9B%D7%AA%D7%99%D7%91%D7%AA%20%D7%90%D7%95%D7%AA%D7%99%D7%95%D7%AA%20%D7%90-%D7%91.pdf

Yes, Alef is the first LETTER of the Hebrew alphabet. It is silent on its own (with now vowel). You can really compare it to English letters because it is silent on its own. I hope it helps 😉

I was wondering if you could help me out with the following: I have always believed that Yeshua HaMashiach is the Hebrew for Jesus The Messiah. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. I keep seeing the following from different comments. Are they correct? - Yahusha/Yahushua - Yahua/Yahuah

Why is the pronunciation tzadik and an ah vowel tsa and not tza
@TheWORDinHEBREW
@TheWORDinHEBREW 6 ай бұрын
The sound a Tsadik צ ץ makes is more like a 'ts' (as in "boots") than a 'tz', which is why I use 'ts' to represent it.
