I have a question 2 part question. It’s about moving a 3 prong range outlet/wiring from one wall to another that already has a 20amp outlet for the fridge which is being moved to another wall. All wires are in the above floor crawl space and I want to know if 1. can I just move the range outlet and wiring and drop it down the same holes/wall as the 20amp outlet? Or do I have to move/remove 20amp circuit completely? In addition if I remove 20amp circuit would be my refrigerator be okay on the 15amp circuit where it’s moving ? That circuit only has 1 light and 3 outlets on it (non gfci kitchen outlets) Any tips will be appreciated thanks!! -Augusta, GA

Hey thank you for reaching out! There are several codes around range circuits, and refrigerator circuits, I would contact a qualified license electrician, or pull a homeowner's permit if you can legally in your area and work with your inspector to make sure you hit a home run on this one

@@ElectricalCodeCoach hey! Reached out to one in my area and the cost is 2 grand to run two wires. One new 6/3 wire to 4 prong outlet. And one new wire for refrigerator. I seen the quote and almost puked. Just to “run the wire” is almost $700 THATS A RIP OFF

Totally off topic but I was trying to find the grounding for a MCC. Do you need one ground rod or two, what are the placement of the ground rods if there is supposed to be two?
