Hello Loreen. Purpose of the study is the general objective of the study. It is the intention of the study. When you answer the research questions, you achieve the purpose. Therefore you state the purpose by looking at the tile and converting it into a statement. For instance, if your title is on Factors influencing women participation in government institutions.. The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors influencing women participation in government institutions. Check also Lesson 53. It will guide you on the relationship between purpose, objectives and research questions. Lessons on Research proposal are from Lesson 51-Lesson 70
