Soooo stoked for this collab! As a KZbinr that has a software business + someone that is also into design, this is literally the dream interview. Andra and I are stoked, best Christmas present ever! Watching over coffee! Fan from The Skool Rocks days!

I have stubbornly documented my very slowly progress on KZbin for ten years, only interested in being authentic, real, and unscripted. I love Theo Von. I appreciate the reminder that not all attention is the same.

Yep 100% totally! Sometimes I'll make a 4 second gif that took me 20 minutes & it's shabby, not pixel perfect & totally impulsive & it gets a 1000 views & a bunch of retweets & comments within hours & I'm like wtf! Then today I spent 12 hours creating a complex 3D animation with mo-cap dance sequences & a sick soundtrack & it's near technically perfect & I'm super proud of it. But six hours later there's not one like or comment & it's got 39 views! It's so weird how these things go down! ^_^

The beginning of this interview was amazing. So much knowledge and advice that was shared. I already liked Colin and Samir, but now I want to listen to them even more. And just to squash the debate - *Plan Check* is the best burger in LA The end, however was pretty awkward. Hot takes on their friends? Wtf? They literally said minutes before they are family friendly and not edgy. The questions felt so inauthentic and completely out of sync with the atmosphere of the conversation. Questions like those should be asked in private.

See all of that with the thumbnails is foreign to me because I come to KZbin specifically for around five different people and that’s it and it wouldn’t matter if there was no thumbnail it’s like you got something dropped. I’m gonna listen to it and I’ve given list before so I won’t give it again but I’m glad to know this for my own KZbin channel

The majority of content I watch is longer form, like this, and often it comes up automatically after something else. More often than not I am not choosing based on thumbnails and titles so much, especially when they are obviously clickbait or not really honest. Sometimes I will click DESPITE a clickbait title for a creator I love. I have watched several interviews with Jimmie/Mr. Beast, for example, but not many of his videos, as they are way too hyped and manipulative for my taste. I don't like feeling yanked around emotionally at all.

Can a first attempt channel make these beginner mistakes and still thrive? I have a lot of personal stake on the name for my first serious business channel
@thefuturАй бұрын
Why not avoid the mistake and just implement the advice you’re giving?

i love their show and like them both equally but sometimes samir should practice shutting up and allowing colin to complete his sentence. the amount of interjecting is annoying as a viewer .. especially when he interjects before colin was done speaking and literally after he was already speaking for 10 minutes none stop. the info is good but still clear he’s not good at making space

A creator is not the traditional actor who works for a studio, obviously. Creators are solo and are not pay checking, lunch pailing shuck and jivers.

@thefutur Ironically does the title and thumbnail need to be something else? I clicked because I love you and their content. The value proposition here that I need to 'risk everything' could be a tough pill to swallow.
@thefuturАй бұрын
We're actually testing out 3 different thumbnails that was just one of them. But we're open to suggestions.
@studiorizАй бұрын
@@thefutur I'm about halfway through the podcast at the moment so might be premature. But the value proposition to me so far is that they have been on KZbin for 13 year = experience. They also seem to be giving the secret sauce to success and what not to do. Maybe there is something in that? The other thing that has potentially been missed in the opening is why we should listen to them. They interview and collaborate with the biggest influencers in the world and you learn how to be a great entrepreneur from the lessons they share/learn. As a long time fan of them, this is what makes them special. Hope that helps! My way to give back for all you guys have given me. Much love ❤️

22:13 was WAY too broad of a stroke brother. He found gratitude, and you attributed that to his skin color... just no. There are people of all colors who never find peace and gratitude. This guy found it and never cared about your attempt at a dig. You're far too intelligent to think in such a way.

Man I was really looking forward to watching this video then I had to stop and come in the comments and say the brown guy was extremely rude and started the show like it was his. That’s why the creative community and the world at large has so much respect for Chris Do because he graciously kept it moving. I want the information they have to offer but it is coming in a haughty/proud spirit then I’ll get the information elsewhere. Don’t invite that guy back onto the platform until he gets correct withimself and learns some respect and dignity. Happy New Year! 🫡
