One of the challenges I'm having is light mounting; I have a couple but need either a MLOK forend (Brilley is nice but expensive) or run a Zhukov with your heat shield/cable management system (not a huge fan of the GG&G heat shield due to no cable management). Slight disagree about a sling for HD (because you should always have a way to carry it if you need to transition to another weapon or use both hands for another task). Looking forward to the next in the series.

Thanks for the feedback. We appreciate it. The Beretta Patrol forend is a solid option with MLOK capabilities up front.

What stock are you running on the A300 Ultima Patrol? Are you going to be selling that option on the website?

Can you expand on why the battery is the weak point of a weapon light on a shortgun? 4:01

I would think he’s referring to runtime. Due to the high output of these lights, plus trying to balance how bulky and heavy it must be, battery life is universally bad. A more compact light, like the size that would take one 123A cell or a short rechargeable one (18350) might have an hour long runtime or less. A two cell (123A x2 or a single 18650) might get closer to two hours. But not necessarily because the longer lights prioritize higher output over longer runtime. So all that plus not having battery storage on a 1301 the way you could keep batteries in many AR stocks…definitely weak points in non….casual situations.

We expand on it in the next video. Stay tuned for that. Shotguns are notorious for damaging batteries under recoil.
