A Vile Hunger for Your Hammering Heart I love it, it was so operatic , yes it was difficult to watch but we all knew this story was very dark is about monsters after all, we can relate to them, But they are not human, at the end of the day we can't compare our emotions to them, their feelings and reactions are always over the top and is kind of the point of this kind of shows, we don't watch them to see a chessy boring soap opera, it's very dramatic but masterfully executed. The acting, the production value, I mean the special effects & makeup all Brilliant!!! Can't wait to see the rest!!! In a very superficial note from my part Lestat looked so gorgeous all dress in black like a freaking Fallen Angel!

Is it weird to say that I liked the episode? Because I did. The people that are bashing Lestat right now seem to forget that this is Claudia's pov and she was never this close to Lestat. In the books she was even in love with Louis and wanted him for herself. That's why I think this whole scene didn't really happen like that, it was her imagination and for now we don't even have Louis perspective and opinion on that. I still love Lestat no matter what, even though that when it comes to the books I'm an Armand fan and I never really liked Claudia. The show is still great with amazing actors and I might sound like a broken record but I love Sam as Lestat even in this episode, maybe especially in this. Oh, and amazing video as always 👏

Lestat is a very old and pretty savage vampire who have been desensitised to most of his human emotions. But when he met Louis he fell hard, he restrained himself and tried to be his best with Louis. In return he wanted Louis to be all his. When Claudia left and Louis went into caving mode they were together but Louis was emotional closed for 1000 days. He waited only to see Louis considering on leaving him when Claudia came back. I feel like to us Lestat is doing the 'bare minimum' in a relationship, but in actuality he is trying so very hard.

I was thinking about that “in the air” scene last night, and then tonight suddenly I see it! It’s really hard to watch all that abuse being exploded onto Claudia and Louie, It was filmed so realistically, I felt it and I had forgotten how brutal that episode was. My heart hurts. I am really hoping Claudia remembers it wrong or is making it worse than it really was. And that current Louis will set the record straight because this level of violence towards your loved one is not something I can condone. It was just brutal and horrible and does not put Lestat in a good light. It makes him seem psychotic and abusive... which would be a weird way to try and set up your anti-hero for a whole book series. That said, excellent video :)

But when you have a character stating in the books that he would never hurt either of them, then this is very OOC for BOOK Lestat. I get why people are upset about that. But this is SHOW Lestat and they are obviously making their own version of him. Just like they did with Louis and Claudia who were also changed drastically. Still, I think this was just a cheap way of trying to justify what Claudia does to Lestat later on and I find it very unnecessary. Also... as stated... it's a VERY weird way of setting up an anti-hero who is supposed to carry a whole books series by making people dislike or even hate him. I am just hoping Claudia is an unreliable narrator as they have proved Louis to be 🤷‍♀️

I'm so glad I watched this epsiode second-handedly through your edits. If I were to watch this episode in its entirety with no filters and edits, I would be so heart-broken to see the full-blown domestic abuse that Louis had to experience. The way Lestat got mad and brutally beat up Louis is like, "if I can't have you, no one can!" type of jealousy rage, over-controlling & over-possessiveness mixed into one crazy act 😔 *sigh* I think I would be crying my eyes out if I experience 1st time viewing episode 5 with my own eyes 😔

Shoutout to @drewsarichfangirl who is the queen!!! Episode 5 had me bawling my eyes out. The fight scene was horribly triggering for me I didn't even realise I was crying. To watch the entire relationship deteriorate to this. Daniel Molloy was right - it's an abuser/abused relationship. Lestat out here cheating on Louis and jealous of a vampire child - I literally want to smack some sense into him. Gotta say this again - Jacob, Sam and Bailey have done a phenomenal job.

It was very intense and the last 10 or so minutes, just heartbreaking 😭😭😭. My mouth was just wide open. OMG!! I figured that as far as Grace was concerned, Louis is gone. Louis felt pulled from both directions. Claudia wanted to take Louis with her, Lestat wanted him to stay with him and in the end, Lestat took that rage out on Louis. Wow!!!!! And when Louis didn't tell Lestat he loved him and just told him to let him go, Lestat did just that. That was hard to watch but I sucked it up and did it.

I'm still shocked from the episode. But I did notice something in the middle of the fight scene. The scene with Claudia and the mirror. I think everything that happened before the mirror scene did happen (most of it happened out of view from the audience) the way it did and in Claudia's POV. The fight after the mirror scene, I'm pretty sure it didn't happen the way it did. The dialogue before and after (after the mirror) does not match. And some of the scenes are not from her POV anymore. It was odd. Still brutal but I'm sure it didn.t happen the way it was shown. Hopefully it's not just wishful thinking on my part.😭😭😭

Angels: I know everyone is having a variety of emotions right now. Me, included, but this is just one episode. We knew what was coming and to prepare for it. No matter what, we're Loustat's Angels. What other fans decide to do, that's on them. If they bring their negativity here, they need to take it elsewhere. There's subject matter in this episode and to tell you the truth, they should have put a warning up. I trust the writers. Sam and Jacob are simply wonderful and you can see they are very close and that makes me very happy and Lestat admits that he's a lot and not perfect. This episode was intense but there are tv shows/movies that are 10 times worse. I'm gonna get over this part of the episode because I'm still a fan. If any Angel wants to put their thoughts here, please do. We are a family here. D's channel is of love and positivity. We support and love each other and we love our Loustat and Sam and Jacob.

A lot of people hates this new episode on Twitter and I saw some even saying they have stop watching the show, that it is apparently triggering them. My question is Really?? I mean you watch a show where since the beginning, there have been many bad things the characters have done but you draw the line on this one. First Lestat have been killing innocent people since the beginning, louis still did the same but recently have been focusing on animals, we have Claudia that was on a killing spree and turned into a literal serial killer collecting trophies from her victims and writing their last words on her little diary. Apparently all those things are not bad but 2 Vampires fighting and the older getting the upper hand in the fight is been turned into a big Domestic abuse situation. I love Louis and I feel he is the one who is the best out of the 3 and i feel bad about what happened to him but this is obviously a fight among 2 strong vampire and one getting the upper hand, Louis is not a meek person that can't handle himself, throughout the season we have seen how he handled Lestat again and again. Anyway I like their love story and I hope the rest episodes redeemed it

I haven't seen Episode 4 or 5 yet, but . . . . . Louis annoyed me in the movie and he somewhat annoys me in this show! And I hated Claudia so I'm not sure how I feel. I will have to see it.

What happened to Louie is what he deserves, in fact, Lester was kind sparing his life and Lester deserves what coming to him by Claudia and Louie when they try to kill….it’s well done unlike the film, this will be justified, when they come for him
