If have to go the supermarket, I change my outfit and brush my hair, and I clean my home every day. I used to do It for others validation. I was in a job educating dog owners and helping them train their dogs for 8.5 years. I didn't realize how much I identified with it until I had to leave that job due to an injury. The following months were some of the most difficult to get through because I lost that identity. After a period of self isolation and rest - I also didn't realize how exhausted I was from that job - all I wanted to do was paint. I'm not as consistent as I'd like to be, but it's getting there. I certainly appreciate all the lessons learned, and these videos help alter my own perspective on events that have happened over the last few years.

it's gojiai kudasai. "go" is a prefix which makes the word more polite, "ji" meaning self and "ai" meaning love. "ご自愛ください"
