I fully agree ! The most known versions are these of the Everly Brothers , of Bob Dylan, of Elvis Presley, of Kenny Rogers, of Lobo and of George Harrison. I was very agreably surprised to find this adaptation. It brims over with youth and innocence.

@erracht Well I certainly do agree with you on that they seemed like real teenagers in real life situations. While I certainly do not know the show as well as some other viewers did, because I started watching the show much later in it's lifecycle. Yes the northwood girls were very pretty especially Brigitta and Deanna. Speaking of Brigitta that facebook page that I cited on here was hers, I sent her a message and she confirmed to me that she is the girl from the show

@erracht Their may have been some evidence to support that the cast was inexperienced as most of them were still very young in their lives and careers. But I really do not know enough to draw a fair conclusion on that subject

@erracht I just wished there was more on this show and that we could get some Dvd's of the show. But I do not think the demand of that show is high enough to get that to happen. Sadly, there was hardly any information on most of the actors and their information when I tried to google their names. No DOB for several of them. I did find a facebook page for Brigitta Dau, I am not sure if it was actually her though.

@erracht But it does appear that some of the females on the show appeared to take their careers in the direction of voice over stuff for Cartoons. I was reading a review of the show on Pulpanddagger and they said the cast showed a lot of promise, but was too inexperenced, which they cited as the downfall of the show

The thing is, the kids actually gave the impression of being real teenagers in real-life situations. BTW, while the show was not as glamorous as my other favorite of the time, Beverly Hills 90210, the Northwood girls were prettier than some of the 90210 girls (certainly prettier than Tori Spelling) and prettier than most of the girls on that other similar Canadian series, Degrassi High.
