Underrated. This movie disturbed me - the loooong killing scene of the teenage boy with Blue Oyster Cult soundtrack and the idea that she is forever and she has has many many “boyfriends”. She is an adult in a girl’s body where they become men but stay children because their life becomes totally focussed on serving her. Creeped me right out. Beautifully shot as well.

Yea, I had the same feeling. The boy got groomed and most people view it as a pre-teen love story. I felt so sorry for the 2 male, main character. They devoted their lives and threw it all away for a predatory monster in a sheep's disguise.

Possibly the most disturbing non-violent scene is when the main character sees the picture of Abby’s “dad” as a boy with her. He will unfortunately take the dad’s place. It’s a devil’s bargain.

It’s amazing seeing how well this movie aged. Matt Reeves is now directing Batman and kodi smitt McPhee got his first Oscar nomination. The aesthetic and lighting to this movie is very similar to the Batman’s as well.

Only an idiot would look at this as a love story. Its about a Vampire who takes advantage of young psychopaths who later grow into killers to feed her blood lust. Remember the beginning where the kid is in his room wearing a mask with a knife looking in the mirror? He says "little girl are you scared". The vampire knows the type of people she needs, whos willing to kill.

turns 10 today! Such compelling performances by Chloe Moretz and Kodi-Smitt McPhee. Impressive camera angles and great gore to spare. An impressive remake by Matt Reeves that doesn’t squander the original The child actors are amazing for their ages and I’m glad they don’t shy away from the gore either Great characters that feel they’ve been shunned by the world during the 1980s but form a unique bond nonetheless

That's what movies do, they make something different and do not take everything in it that is in the book. Sometimes they make something new that did not happen in thr book also. I don't think the american movie was that bad. I did like it, but I did like the swedish the best, but nothing compares to the book that both these movies are based on.

Ahh, I remember the good old days when we thought that Enhypen's Let Me In was a bright boyfriend concept. Good old days.. Engenes tend to forget that Enhypen purposely debuted on November 30, during a penumbral eclipse, for these concepts.

its a frightening movie because you want to sympathize with the Vampire only to realize at the end she manipulates all the boys into servitude for life with absolutely no empathy or love in it. She does it purely for survival. When she's done with them, she simply discards them for another one. Worse than a parasite because she manipulates them into falling in love with her when she only uses them for food.

I've seen both versions and honestly I like this remake better. The original Swedish film is a very good film as well, but this version is a lot darker in tone and I found it more emotional than the original.

I like to see the both versions on TV . I just noticed the other version with different actors and adifferent actress titled Let The Right One In ( '08 ) not in English version is one & the other version is in English . For some reason they put on the one w/o English words in them the ( '08 ) version . It didn´t make any sense doing that . Is there another version of these two as well I can check them out on youtube at all in a different title does anyone know ?.
