In west Texas you can find tarantulas under the outdoor lights. Pretty cool. I vastly prefer tarantulas over scorpions! Vinegaroons resemble scorpions, but they have a flexible tube for a tail instead of a stinger. They are also called Whip Scorpions. When disturbed, they squirt an acid which smells like vinegar from their tail.
