Yes, please make more cooking/baking videos! I'm in the very beginning stage of learning how to cook as I'm trying to learn to be healthy and fit so I can better serve the LORD and so nutrition, exercise, and healthy lifestyle changes are very important to me right now. I wanna make some Amish bread now, hahaha. Looks yummy and I bet it tastes good with jam or berry compote. 😋

Even though this video is 9 months old and you're most likely to not see this comment, I just wanted to say thank you for this recipe! Ive made it twice in the last week (one for my house, and one for my coworkers) and it was a hit! It felt so good to relax and bake a simple bread during these stressful quarantine days. I find myself gravitating towards your channel more and more often, and i'm finding myself naturally coming into my femininity and house making duties even as a single woman. It almost feels instinctive, like my soul is telling me what to do, not my mind. You truly have become a beacon of light for feminine woman.

A way to make your loaf less lumpy is lightly roll it out into a rectangle and loosely roll and fold it into the shape. Makes it smoother and more uniform 💕

@Pinkiepinkie S This channel is actually pretty inclusive, especially for a Christian channel. I have heard her refer even to non-believers while discussing her topics, in a kind way.. Just because someone might not live life with exactly the same views on dating, marriage and religion, doenst mean they cant take away something positive from this video. =)

L We are sexual by nature, nothing wrong with that. Being openly sexual is NOT the same as objectification: one can be objectifed face covered or naked. Let other people live excatly the way they want in their only bodies, as long as they aren’t causing harm for others. If I want to pose in a sexual manner, it ain’t no one elses business, just my own. My body my rules. 🙂

Be careful with vinegar... If you have granite it will chemically etch the surface after slowly ruining the seal on the countertop. Citrus will also etch... I found out the hard way after having some spill and researching later as someone was about to clean the counter with lemon infused vinegar. I instead used a mix of water and isopropyl alcohol when I wanted to disinfect. ❤️

On your website the ingredients say sugar but the method says honey, also it's good to note there to not mix the yeast into the water and also to not add salt directly over the yeast and water mixture, and to first mix in flour then the salt so not to kill the yeast (I learned the hard way 😞)

I just started baking my own bread with a very similar recipe, but I usually fill up my oven to save on electricity. I make 6 loafs at a time and freeze them already sliced up. with that we usually have for the whole week. You can even find bread tins that can be elongated to fit your oven’s depth and make the most of your space. We save so much and can even afford organic or rie flours...if I don’t make it the prices of bread make me cringe here in Cape Town...🙈 Thanks for the video.
