I knew the first comments i would read were going to be about land destruction. I think that does hinder alot of people from this build but the staples in the deck can easily slide to another strategy. love the amount of low mana interaction you built in.

How does this deck win? The "draw your opponents out" would be better if there was a source of infinite mana, or at least a big mana producer, but there really isn't one. There's a lot of removal, either through discard or destroy target thing, but there doesn't seem to be a reliable win con, just making the deck pilot a threat since he's constantly destroying things without actually leading to a win con.

I pulled an etched zevlor, was just gonna throw him in my xander but after seeing this im quite tempted to build an LD discard deck with tergrid and other cruel effects- wont be very casual but it should come in handy when i play against meanies!

A lot of people get salty about it but honestly, I think we need more of it. A lot of people are complaining that Commander, even in "casual" settings is a 6 turn format. Resource Denial is important if you want to slow the game down.

@@commanderbydaenen Eh, anyone gets salty about stax in general.. just another version of stax.. I mean, when you build a deck designed to shut off people from playing the game then it just gets salty.. Magic for me or at least commander is a format we do those long games but its when everyone is having a good time is when the true spirit of the game comes out.. doesn't even matter if I win if I'm having a good times with my mates. You know?

@@amodking No, I get it. I love games that are about an hour long where everyone gets to do their thing. I love when the stack is 6-7 cards deep and you're trying to count how many triggers that is off of your copied Storm-Kiln Artist. What I'm tired of is all-in combos that try to win on turn 3 and me having the only interaction at the table to slow the game down and everyone hating on me because the game may actually go to turn 4. I don't love Stax, but I do want the game to last a bit longer than 15 minutes.

Soon as I saw the land destruction and discard I knew this build isn’t for me. I want my friends to have a fun time playing against it, losing lands and cards in hand is a sure fire way to have your deck hated.

Fair enough. I like playing a wide variety of Commander decks, from silly to vicious and cEDH to casual. But to be fair, the title of the video says "Embrace the Evil"
