I'm on right now" and then people are searching for that character to kill. Might make more high risk encounters. I think it would be fun on both sides

I started a cringe build for the new bg. Aoe utility Mass slow (20 yd radius!!! And you can target totems or allies to set it off vs opponents) Raising hell (I got demonic influence for 50% more pet dmg) Flame surge (-50% dmg, but up to 10 targets) Mass entanglement Blinding light Anything AoE But Mass slow in larger scale pvp has been sooo fun. I turned the tide so many times by making the opponent unable to push or retreat. You won't be the top of anything on the charts, but you know you contributed 4sur. Edit: changed my mind it's more battlefield control, than Aoe utility

Dude, that's my main complaint with cat form on ascension. I like how it got later when shapeshifting has trivial cost. It's already more balanced on ascension with how many talent points investing in cat dps takes. At least let shapeshifting cost for cat/bear focused builds be something that can be >90% reduced or no cost.

This server depresses me sometimes. I survived everyone and their mother doing explosive shot for 5 months+ straight but i don't know if i can handle chain lightning spammers too. The dps gaps put me to sleep.

I have actually played Manafiend before, but it was a few months ago lol, the main goal is Arcane Blast spam during delirium casting Arcane Missiles whenever a specific proc happens (I forget the name but it’s the one with the attack speed or amount of missiles) Aside from that. Stack pure int and you are great, you want that mana bar to be a beefy as possible lol.

I like that this video was a lot of BGs to 60. BGs to 60 is like one of the most fun times in Ascension because people don't have all their CCs yet and it actually is weirdly somewhat balanced between casters and melee. Grugnar

you saying that you felt like a new player looking at the DPS disparity is always what I think when I try to make any build. the only build I've done respectable damage when I built it without looking up stuff was stormborn and lightning bolt/chain lightning, those abilities just pump so easily. currently just prestieged a hellfire character that was some serious aoe dps but it wasn't as fun to me as compaired to a hybrid toon. Now I'm going for a shadow caster and going to work on trying to use hand of guldan and seed of corruption for aoe stuff. Good luck on your next build and try out the other random cast chance stuff aswell, I like the mage one the most myself because you can proc it from your aoe spells so easily, other than that probably going to do a knight of the eclipse next of this doesn't pan out too well. For some reason people do insane amaounts of damage in Mythics. Also a lot of people complained that the Mythics are a cakewalk and now they buffed them. As a non-meta healer build I am struggling despite being full pve gear and 118 ilvl :/ And thanks to the buff, tanks take way too much damage. GL with your mythics man! IGN: Bebsy

I just rolled a booomkin mostly anyway and have been messing around with the same enchant it works well with the arcane missles one too where if you have moonfire on the target and you arcane missles them it explodes and applies moonfire to everyone in the area. Two fat basically insta cast aoe arcane damage abilities. Crazy FPS with basically no gear but having those abilities I was doing 10k dps on trash mob pulls in normal dungeons. Was a blast - no pun intended - Will have to tinker with it more or if you do. Lmk what you think

you know you're playing ascension when you start out with Elemental Destruction for a good caster, realize you're too small brain for it by lvl 30 and swap to arcane gunslinger. just to hit 70 with no aimed shot. hurts so good, never change wow. never change. ~Barishir

I use the Temporal Blast Legendary that can stack 3 spells at 40% quicker speed - use Starfire 3 times with that, then the Starburst Barrage!

@@Ziptomba The proc rate isn't high enough to really give it a fighting chance at max level. The shaman one is interesting though. Get the cl spam re with the shaman random cast re. There are less spells to pick from. All of the shocks are basically candy 5 self heals and 2-3 bad spells aka shields.

I have suggested this to devs previously but imo they should make the enchants like deranged druid work with abilities that you only have and make it so its like every 3rd cast or make it more consistent .... because for example I was playing a crazy cultist build and it kept prioritizing dots which did 0 to no dmg what so ever when there were much better spells that it could choose to cast.... it should just be more consistent and only either work for offensive abilities or the ones that you have learned. Manafiend is actually one of the best single target dps, what you want is just int, int and more int, crit and obviously hit capped arcane blast, melee attack repeat... so super simple. -Ziliar

An example is your knight of the eclipse video I saw you doing HUGE crits yet now in tbc all your crits are normal/ pretty balanced between your builds. Knight is busted. I was leveling up a new spec and grouped with one. They pretty much two shot 2 bosses in that run of BRD. Level 53 an we’re doing 2k, almost 3k dps. The “normal” builds can do big damage if you’re geared and REs are solid and you just happen to get the right skills. But there’s certain Legendary REs that are just busted AF and do insane damage with very little gear an REs. Booming Thunder, 4-5k is the average with just a couple of REs and some normal dungeon gear. It’s crazy but fun too.

@@blainelott1230 see that's insane. I was struggling with a few different builds to reach 3-4k dps as melee. I personally feel that caster dps is OP and easy mode but I haven't tried all the melee builds.

@@lanewoodard6868 try a hybrid melee build. Thunder Slam is fun. Fire windrager. I like tanking more than anything, Righteous Flames and Mana forge have been my favs. The flames can easily pull 2-3k as a tank, just like the shadow bear and a thunder slam tank. But that’s the joy of it, jus trying out new an fun build ideas around the Legendary REs

stopped ascension like a month ago... this chainlightning build can easily pull out 40.000 DPS on full ASC gear in mythics. new players just standing in the back row with their mouth wide open because you can literally solo mythics as a lightning caster. Ps: it might be super good for mid sized packs(6 mobs) but there are waaaay better alternatives for packs of 10+(sunfire) and solo target encounters(overpower/paragon/arcane)

the one thing I love on retail is the personnal loot. With group loot, you can ninja every item without consequences. I don't mind master loot or group loot when running a dungeon/raid in a guild group though. tbf, I don't encounter ninja looters, it must be pretty rare
