that dizzy player at the start had the best possible matchup, almost as good as hc vs zato (although i dunno about it this patch i havent played in forever) and still lost 😭😭😭

This game not having a match maker really kills it for me. Its a shame cuz i love playing. But matches are so few and far between, it just kills my drive to play.

I bought Strive months ago, but never tryed it until last week. I'm still testing the characters, chasing my main... and I'm so upset with myself because the only one that feels instantly right for me is Zato. I really wanted to connect with Giovanna, Johnny or even Bridget, anyone consistent enough... but no. It has to be either Zato or ABA. I even hate Zato's hair and gloves! Damn it!

I could never get a grip with zato. I love technical characters like aba but controlling a puppet always feels weird unlike stance changing

Why cant zato go a single patch without getting nerfs? Do they have something against him? Sword nerf plus 6p nerf hurts and all we got in exchange was some gimmicks. Maaaaaan i hate arc sys balancing. And now we gotta run this zato for another half a year

Tricky characters are too triggering for the normies, so the developers keeps them always below the baseline, to avoid mass complaints. Such complaints don't need to be reasonable or justified, their existence is enough to nerf niche characters.

Don’t know what to say man. Zato is overall better now than last patch. His buffs definitely outshine his nerfs
