You made that look easy. Following the video you sent me the other day, I've cleared level 1 now several times without taking a single hit. Still getting destroyed in level 2 but at least I'm now entering that level with a full set of lives. I'll use this video to help once I open level 3. Again, great work and many thanks.

Was wondering, dear ​@@Shmuptopia, is there a list of your favs shmups? For example, I like everything DoDonPachi, Ketsui, Zero Ranger, Blue Revolver, Crimzon Clover, Raiden (including III and IV), RayForce, and Batsugun.

I have mentioned certain games throughout various videos but I haven't yet put together a favorite list video. That said, some of the games I absolutely love are Rolling Gunner (not the OverPower dlc as I have never played it), Gunnail, Giga Wing, Danmaku Unlimited 3, Shikhondo: Soul Eater and others like the Vasara games.@@thedeparted_one

Great video. I find this game does an excellent job of rewarding well-executed aggressive play. Mild is pretty easy, but Intense is a big jump from that. I actually just got my Intense 1CC with Type C: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jpjZXpuiabVggbs

Congratulations on the clear! I just started jumping in the other night for that mode in particular and am loving it so far - huge jump compared to Mild. I really like green ship but what I've noticed is that, when playing with the blue one, I easily perform way better. I think part of it is due to the slower speed but another factor may just be that I'm more accustomed to the game now compared to the first couple of days. Because of that, I'm tempted to jump back into the green ship and see how things go. I love how much damage it does! As of right now, though - I'm typically making it to stage 5 before I bite the bullet but I'm pleased to see the progress so far given how the game hasn't been out on Switch for very long yet. @@Shmuptopia No problem! Also, my problem with the blue ship is that it doesn't handle boss fights as well as the others. It doesn't deal as much damage quickly, so I found myself having to hang in there longer with Type B to finish off a boss than I would with Type C or even Type A. Type C does have a bit of a learning curve because it's the fastest ship and that charge shot does require some good timing to get the most out of it. However, once I got adjusted to it, my runs started improving dramatically.

@@psymagearcade Yeah, that's understandable. I just did another run and made it to the final boss part where the sections breaks away after the initial health bar, so I'm super close! I just need to clean up some fumbles along the way. From what I can tell, the training mode doesn't let you practice just bosses, which would be handy. I don't find the stage 3 boss too tricky, but there's another one (the stage 4 mid-boss) that is currently tripping me up quite a bit (using too many resources).
