Our main problem is the politicians of today. The only reason why we aren't already united when Julius Nyerere asked for unification is because our president at that time Jomo Kenyatta didn't want to risk losing his position of power and he had close ties to the British. Any Xenophobia that exist between African people today is because of bad leadership from our politicians. Only after I learned about the history of east Africa and Africa as a whole did I realise the importance of our unification as Julius Nyerere, Nkwame Nkruma, Marcus Garvey, Malcom X, Muammar Gaddafi and Julius Nyerere tried to explain. By the way Kenyans have a lot of reasons to be jealous of TZ. For example, we have Maasai Mara, but you have Serengeti, we have Mt. Kenya, but you have Kilimanjaro, we have Lamu, but you have Zanzibar, we have Mombasa, but you have Dar es Salaam, we have a lot of land, but you have almost double and less arid regions etc. So we are only left with Nairobi to brag about and some idiots think we can also brag about speaking better english which makes no sense since that's not our language and there is no pride in speaking a foreign language over our own. Let's focus on educating our people on history and why it is important that we see each other as one people. We have suffered by the same colonialist white people and we will only overcome them together.

First of all Tanzania GDP is 85 billion and not 63 Billion as you mentioned. Second, There is No Way Kenya Coastline will be the Same size with Tanzania coastline of 1,424 for Both countries. You need to do your Research Again. Also coastline include lakes Coastline and for that reason Tanzania has massive Coastline. Also Kenya cannot have 70% of Swahili Speaking population because the Swahili used in Kenya is broken and cannot be called Swahili. Most Kenyans Speak their Native/Ethnic languages and those who went to School are the one can speak English well. Tanzania cannot be 9% of population speak English because Secondary Schools and Colleges in TZ use English and most of Tanzania went up to Secondary schools as is a must.

At the end of the day, all this means nothing. Comparing one third world country with another third world country gives very little meaning. A lack of ambition . In 1962, for example, when Uganda got independence, Uganda was richer than Singapore and at the same level with Malaysia economically ! Right now , the difference is so stack ..it is like comparing light and darkness. You only wonder what happened to Uganda ? The reasons are many and obvious. Among them is bad leadership. Today, Uganda is sitting on gold reserves totaling about 380 million tones ( approximately 12 trillion US Dollars, confirmed !) enough to make Uganda one of the world's largest economies and that is besides this oil this dictatorship in Kampala has already mortgaged with so many loans already. Kenya , Tanzania equally have huge resources that have never been tapped . Bad leadership and corruption. If we really want to make comparisons between nations, we should be asking why Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, DRC, etc are still LDCs even with all these resources and countries that have nothing like Singapore , Malaysia, etc are not LDCS.

That is very disrespectful! Tanzania was colonized by Germany from the 1800's to after world war I. Then Britain took over until independence. And Mombasa is the smallest county in Kenya by land size! I checked. And it does not hurt to be respectful
