I think these are a fine project, and I don't know what you get for them, but I have some suggestions. 1) I think the black printed bevel-filler should be filled, sanded and painted to match the case. 2) The mismatched colors of that un-keyed power connector are likely to result in a problem if someone opens this and reconnects it wrong 3) Hot glue is fine for keeping things from moving, but not for supporting the shear weight of a vertical object. If it fails, the screen drops down and falls in. You really should print some kind of mounting bracket or clip that uses at least 2 screws, in addition to whatever hot glue you also add.

Your suggestions are great and very valid! I need to reinforce the internal area. the problem is creating 3D brackets, as I remove some posts. I will add some kind of mesh to support the LCD. Thank you very much!!

I’m glad you like it if you do, but I feel like there was a missed opportunity to install a later model VGA CRT monitor in there. Would have been dope to use with those new VGA cards for the apple two. Ya know, something like a later model 786N capable of up to 1440p resolution, incidentally displays beautifully from the Raspberry pi pico powered VGA card.

I don't have a large amount at my disposal, and adding CRT's and new electronics is costly. Also making them fit is difficult and sometimes impossible.

This is great, Jav! Maybe 3D printed arms that screw into the CRR mount holes to hold the lcd down, at least in three of the four corners? Also would put the switch on the black wire so the psu isn’t always energized when plugged in. Miss the chunk noise the CRT made when turning on.
