I own the Kubota SCL 1000 and i own two Vermeer 925s and they are good machines. I run these in my landscape and grading company as well as renting them to people in my rental business. The Kubota is good for lifting and moving material but they are very narrow and pretty easy to tip them over. The Vermeers in my opinion are the best on the market as far as the pushing power and the hydraulic power that it sends to attachments. My guys would rather run the Vermeers over the Kubota due to the stability, ergonomics and the power. Vermeer runs a V1505 Kubota Diesel that they lower the rpms to keep it under 25 hp and it can move around and run the hydraulics without bogging down.

I have owned a Wacker Neuson Sm-100 for a year and a half now. Super fast and about 5-10k less than a dingo and Ditch Witch. I mostly use it to run buckets of dirt and gravel. I use a 54 inch bulk material bucket. I have no problems using it in this area. I have found it to be a little underpowered if you are using attachments all day long. It does have a wide track but the tread is very aggressive. So it rates a 7 out of 10 in this area. The Dingo and Ditch Witch turn a lot smoother also. But overall I love my Sm-100

1st off Wide Track is 100% the way to go unless you absolutely need the narrow. Which rules out the Kubota in my mind. I have lots of time on a Vermeer S925TX and I own a Bobcat MT100. Both come in wide track and they are so similar. I chose Bobcat because of local dealer presence and have grown to prefer it slightly. The Vermeer has the dual hydraulics which could be a plus for you. That is my experience, love both of these machines!!

I bought a brand new sm100 last fall, and with less than 150 hours on it, I had to have all the hydralic components flushed and replaced. My dealer didn't perform the service bulletins, and it caused me to be without a machine for the first half of my season. I have the MT100 wide track model. One thing about it is the track wheels are self lubing. I think they’re one of the only companies that offer them. I’ve had it for about a year and it’s been a great machine. Very easy to maintain. One thing I saw that I did like about some of the other machines that you previewed was having an external fill tank for the fuel tank. @51:23 One small error on the Kubota SCL1000 is that the hydraulics are pilot-operated loader and drive control valves (meaning not electric over hydraulic - this is from their website and typically Kubota is well known for this style of setup on many of their machines). I own an SCL1000 and love the T-drive handle and right joystick for loader and bucket movement. I haven't had the opportunity to try out the others. I've only seen the Bobcat in person and to me I think you're right on the assessment on it, I also think that Bobcat needs to update the operator platform/station. It just seems heavily dated. Overall, nice review! Was nice seeing of all of the mini's together. I haven't caught any other videos with so many all being compared fairly. Would love seeing more reviews!!! 😃

@button-jeffАй бұрын
That is exactly why we went with the Kubota for my tree business. Wide track paired with a narrow frame makes for a very stable machine. It will get through the most narrow if gates while remaining stable overall. Yes, it can tip but if you're smart and remember you're on a small machine you'll be fine. The Kubota is the best machine in its class. There are bigger machines, but when making direct comparisons the Kubota wins. The Kubota has real grease fittings, oil changes take 15 minutes tops, runs on almost no fuel, and generally seems the most comfortable to operate. We have 2200 trouble free hours on our machine. We love it.

Vermeer CTX100/160 is the best mini on the market imho. Fast ground speed, solid build and heavy lift capacity. Hydraulics are more than enough for any high or low flow attachments. The bobcat is too underpowered. I love bobcat as a company too but they need to up the specs on the power. Trying to multi function is terrible. Just bogs way down. The CTX 100 can handle pretty much whatever you throw at it. Ditch which would be my second choice. They use powerful engines and hydraulics. In Michigan all the Vermeer dealers are also Yanmar dealers. I would have guessed they would be trying a Vermeer because they have the Yanmar excavator.
