I have a Macintosh SE that I've been using as a parts unit for my SE/30, so let's use the whole thing and make a modern device out of a classic mac! This short video is the first part of what should be a really fun project!

This video documents the first steps I've taken to make turn this mac into a modern machine. Again, this was a parts unit for my SE/30 and I wanted to repurpose the whole thing, hence this project. Things will change quite a bit as we go. I'd love to hear suggestions if you have any!

That's a pretty cool little color LCD. Do you have a link or part number for it? Also, what's inside the case, a Raspberry Pi or something else?

For this video, I've got a Genesis Classic Mini stuffed in there just to show something running. I'm filming the next part as we speak and there's already a Raspberry Pi 4b mounted in place. Just have to design a back panel for the ports I plan to add, etc. I love that little monitor. There's a small chance I'll keep it in there and close the gaps. An ipad 4 or 3 display might be a decent fit it will also keep it more apple aha Im currently building one myself and purchased a board that allows you to plug HDMI to the ipad display. Quite keen to see how an ipad display looks in an old mac aha
