I recently purchased a 2023 "Last Call" Charger RT DAYTONA. The color is that gorgeous Octane Red metallic. The engine is the same as the one in this video's car, but so much else has changed. Mine definitely gets noticed! Love this car, and since they will no longer be made ( my design and the HEMI V8) this one is a real keeper! Best car I ever owned ( bought my first car when I was 18 and in HS back in 1973!) Also, if my vehicle was going to be filmed and immortalized in a KZbin vid, I'd have at the very least given it a good bath! 😁

Trust me i got the 2015 R/T plus and I love it, so far 40,000 plus miles no complaints. Got some modifications but power talking just a K/N and a Flowmaster super 44 still a powerful and respectful car...yes I will love a few more horses but it's all good for now 🙃

Own a 2018 RT, what a sleeper, quality ride great handling (for what it is) and that Hemi roar. (stock) Solid ride it will smoke 90% of the cars on the road. Good job on video.

@@justshady a q50 will match up vs well with a regular RT , the 2012-2014 camry v6 does 0-60 in about 5.5-5.7 seconds add some upgrades you get low 5s also can match very well with an regular RT. Scatpack ? Those cars I mentioned has no chance at all.

I used to be kinda like oh those charger rts are big boats and they aren’t that impressive but honestly I’ve seen some on here with bigger tires and a tune and u can easily get 4.5 0-60 if not better depending how much bolt ons u do and to me that’s completely insane for a 4300 lbs car like your literally able to go as fast as like a 2014 mustang gt stock with just simple bolt ons in a freaking 4 door sedan like they are insane imo now just doing a little more research on em

As a 2006 Charger Daytona. I take offense to the “rough around the edges” bit. In my opinion the body style is hands down the better of the years since. My car has every extra, like heated seats, dual climate control, 8 way power seats and all that jazz. Mine is bone stock and will stay that way and will still haul ass and sound awesome doing it. I could do a few mods and make it insane but, nah. Again, I would sit my car beside the one here in video and body style for body style hands down the 06 Daytona is so much more “muscle car” even with 4 doors look......

Fun car to mod not the top dog affordable V8 which is the 392 in these times but still a very fun car. I have a 16 Challenger R/T with intake, TB, catless mids, 180 Tstat, 275 to hook, resonator delete, spare tire and jack delete 😂 it pulls, and it would pull better with a tune after all that. I can say they dyno in the 350 rwhp range. Dodge doesn’t want to advertise this one anymore they want to market the 392 which competes against the 5.0 and SS. 5.7 Hemi has very restricted parts such as the exhaust manifold, exhaust, intake manifold, but the heads handle boost better than a 6.4. If you’re in it to have fun and modify it get it! Well worth it and your monthly car payment and insurance will come less than a 6.4 while still having a V8! Every mod makes a better difference than the 6.4 does, because this car needs it.

R/T is a wonderful car, only car I can think of that is better is foriegn. about 2 years ago I bought a 2011 BMW 550i, 4.4L TT V8, 4 door family sedan, full luxry, and it would beat 5.0's in a straight line. Got it for $19,999. Only thing is, the N63 Engine isnt nearly as reliable as the 5.7, but luckily for me it was all very reliable and never had an issue. People sleep on RT's though, just because theyre not a 6.4 or a hellcat.

I have a 17 RT. Thing hauls ass and it sounds like a lion especially in sport mode. You wanna spend an extra 10k then yea get a scat. I had an 18 Mustang GT which is more on the same level as a the scat pack in terms of power and price. It was so expensive.

I started out with a v6 2017 destroyer gray. After 6 months of the bs from the v8 cars I figured id go out and get a v8. Now i have both 2017 v6 2018 v8. My issue now is its only a 5.7 lol damn. It will always be someone talking down on the less appreciated cars. Love the vid. Trust me not too many sleeping on us now! Rt 4 life. Well maybe ill add the scatpack next year lol, will have all 3. 2017 and up has that active exhaust so yeah i love my rt.

I own a 06 daytona i love it have beat a few 392z dk if its due to driver error or luck but the 5.7 is a great motor and great to mod if u can afford to do so great video bro

THIS CAR DOESN'T HAVE A PLATFORM FROM THE MID 1990'S AS YOU SAID ! This car has NO Mercedes parts ! This is a LD not a LX Charger ! 2011-2014 only shared part with a Mercedes was the 5 speed automatic..2015 doesn't use it ! Not a Mercedes platform ,never was or was on a Mercedes paltform ! The LX from 2006-2010 shared seat frames,steering column from the Mercedes and rear suspension design,not platform from the then current 2004-2009 Mercedes.. Rear suspension design was from the then new and current 2004-2009 Mercedes,not the 1990's version.. You can go under the car and say hey look its a Mercedes and use Mercedes parts,its not the same nor is ! Rear suspension design for some reason is called a platform,I guess then new GM and Ford trucks are on the same platform as they use the 10 speed automatic ,so Chevrolet,GMC and Ford trucks are the same platform from the 1950's ! The 1990's bs is made by haters and the Mercedes platform also was made up by Dodge haters
