I got a message from the machine ghost telling me to contact the Clinician because I had too many events last night😬. I’m waiting on a call back. The humidity is bothering me. I still feel 200% better .

When I was a child my mom and grandmother would can and preserve. They would make fried pear pies from dried pears. They also canned the pears and it would have a delicious syrup on them. Those were the days. Do people still can and make jelly like years ago.

@@jacquelinelee9223 Oh yes. I plan to make jelly for the first time this Winter 😊. I just learned canning a year ago. The pear pies sound delicious.

Those fried pies look delicious! I have made savory fried pies but never tried sweet fried pies. I'll have to give it a try. When I fold the dough on fried pies or dumplings I wet the inside parts that fold over and touch to seal mine. I noticed you did it on the outside? That was nice to see you were thinking of us down here on the gulf coast during Francine coming to visit us. I have family in Louisiana, they are all ok but some without power. Over here we also got some of the Francine storms over in northwest Florida. We lost power for a short period, I woke up to lights flashing outside and no lights in my house. I went out on the front porch about 2am to see what was happening. I could see an electric crew truck flashing lights. I reckon they were fixing the problem. I went back to sleep.
