Ignore the trolls. Good stuff you’re having a go and doing it for YOU. Learn as you go. No one should force you to suddenly become a Mat Armstrong overnight. Sure it’s good content but everyone’s at a different stage. Step by step. Looking forward to the future vids on this one. Proper pocket rockets

I really like the idea of doing a project car build and I rate anyone that attempts it. I know this has been done to death and Matt Armstrong is the OG of builds but I think there is room for us all to find a project build. I've been considering this as I've recently started my channel but I don't feel I can financially defend a build car just yet. I'll be keeping a eye on this channel to see how the build progresses

Once you start pricing up new Audi S1 parts, you’ll realise that if there’s any way to repair the ones you have, it’s probably worth the effort to repair, because they’re quite hard to source & also not cheap. The radiator bracket is mild steel, so it can be bent back into its correct position quite easily and it will be as good as new & just as strong. It also isn’t meant to be totally straight & squared off like you think, it’s actually meant to have an angle on it, & it’s actually not much less than it already has. Bumper can be plastic welded quite easily, but I wish you the very best of luck trying to source another one, as they’re only available on S1 & A1 S-line with the 1.8T. Just about every other broken/missing plastic component is compatible with 2015 onwards A1 & readily available. Guards & bonnet are the same for all 8X A1 & S1.

You know it good if you have a seasoned tech talking to the screen 😂. Your friends are in the know , first things first get some tools . And no don't buy that cooler bracket ,a pry bar and a pair of vise grips will sort it out . Welcome to the Dark Side 😅.

Envy you, lost count of how many times I have said "I'm going to give it a go myself" then 5 minutes in I'm calling a mate because something is being stubborn so I lose motivation. Hope you see it through and learn on the way. Don't let others put you off, do your thing, haters are going to hate no matter what you do

nver rinse before snowfoam, it dilutes the snowfoam more and makes it less effective. Just a tip
@rodrigobkjames969210 ай бұрын
Dilutes the snowfoam and makes it less effective??! Nah mate. You're wrong.
@jackwalker35510 ай бұрын
By rinsing you're getting off the majority of the dirt first, allowing the snowfoam to get to work on the bits actually stuck on. It makes it more effective not less
@259522010 ай бұрын
That a joke? 😂, that's like not rinsing your body when you get in the shower before lathering up, of course you always rinse excessive dirt/grime off first
@yazctr9 ай бұрын
@@jackwalker355 go watch Forensic Detailing, he did a comparison, with and without rinsing! And without rinsing had better results.

Great video Luke, ask Pocher to get you a higher resolution camera. 1080p isnt great in almost 2024 and the video looks quite washed out due to the lack of HDR. Not critical of your video at all just a few changes would make you stand out. Fair play to you giving this repair a go 🪛👍
