In case u didn't know: Rapido is a Canadian based company, the name came from a Canadian passenger train and these guys love to put a lot of detail on their models. They would normally 3D scan the real thing to get proper dimensions or look at the blueprints. Wasn't surprise that the thing had a lot of detail because that's what Rapido is known for in North America.

Back when I had woeful internet I always used to wait the extra time to watch your videos in HD. I'm glad I've done it again this time, because this coach is absolutely fabulous! It's beautiful! I think the last time I was this impressed was either your custom pannier, or the Midland Compound!

Nothing better than opening a new model, that one is particularly nice. I myself enjoy opening up a new kit ready for building. That big wheel on the side is called the ninth wheel or measuring wheel, it measures the stresses and strains between loco and its trainset, so ideally it should be placed directly behind your loco.

Will, firstly, it's great to see you back. I was worried about how you and Craig were keeping, but I'm glad to see and hear you're doing well, and that you've got projects in mind for the coming year. It's lovely to see. Secondly, the corridor connections on the car are British Standard type, as would have been used on coaches run by the LMS, GWR, Caledonian, NER etc; as the Dynamometer Car was built by the latter (NER) but operated by the LNER, who largely ran coaches with Pullman corridor connections and knuckle-couplings, those coaches with B.S. connections were fitted with Pullman connector plates, as seen on the car here, to increase the surface area, height, and for the two different types to clip onto. All LNER corridor tenders also were fitted with Pullman corridors, hence the need for the connector plate. I look forward to seeing more of your new content over this coming year. Your videos have always inspired me and made me laugh, and even influenced me to consider creating content of your own. Let's hope next time you're reviewing something the general public can pronounce, eh? - Alexandra

Bachmann is still producing Thomas the Tank Engine models over her in the US. If you can order overseas or find an importer in your country, then you can collect more. The models replicate what the characters look like on the show.
