Scott I love the glass book you showed us! Books on antique anything are akin to the old Sears Wishbook for me. Treasures to astonish you on every page. Maybe someday you’ll share your library with us. I’m sure you’ve collected many interesting reads over the years. ❤your videos.📚

Oh Scott, I have a squat Fostoria Versailles bulbous vase with a standing neck and clear spiral handles in teal. I have long loved it. I have never seen another piece to match it…but I keep looking. I am facing my first year of holidays without my Beloved Husband who shared it all with me since 1974, June 21st. He crossed the river April 13 2024, and we Married December 13 1974. So many shared times, now all in the past, and I can’t find the festive feeling inside me this year. You doing these daily videos give me something to take my mind off the dreadful void where he used to be. I don’t think I am ready yet to do it alone. I have begun restoring our Arts and Crafts era home back to its original glory. Very little was changed from its origins, that cannot easily be removed and brought back to how it was meant to be. Together, we did a good start at restoration…and I have set myself to finish what we began. Perhaps when that is done, I will be able to face these dates and Anniversaries with more enthusiasm…I can only hope, and until then, your company and effervescent cheer will be my teacher. Thank you.🖤🇨🇦

Wow Scott, those sweet meat sets were Fabulous, and the boxes, incredible👏❤️👏. You inspired me to add to my collection of research books on Pressed Glass, yes an Amazon order tonight 🤣. I have to do some further investigating on the English Company who produced that Flow Blue Bowl. Way back in time a great great Uncle was one of the Officers sending the SOS message as the Lusitania went down. Growing up we were never allowed to talk about it, my grandmother would start crying. What a busy Sunday night, thanks for your interesting video!

I have several of those "heathen" shirts. They are so comfortable around the house. You need to wear the heathen (worn) hat with it. Great haul! I love everything. I learn so much watching you. 😊

Lived in Japan for eight years. Have sold everything from there except a beautiful Thousand Flower vase and Octagonal dish. Since the 1980's have used lacquer ware bowls. Microwaves have not been kind. Love the simplicity of the stretch glass. It reminds me of satin glass. Are you decorating your front porch for Christmas? Did you install a propane fireplace for your livingroom? You must think of adopting another you know what. My favorite do everything in is a paint scared Deception Pass State Park hoodie of which is my "show me" where I contributed many volunteer hours. Be safe out there.😊

I'm waiting for a night of Scott Movietone Follies, when you tell a couple of jokes, do a little time step, and sing Melancholy Baby. I fairly gasped over the horseshoe platter! So delightfully American, yet with that aesthetic movement diagonal design behind the central horseshoe. Magic. The pitcher is also amazing, but if truth be told, I'd prefer it without the etching, but that's just me. I have a heathen sweater that was my father's that I wear when I'm watching TV, and too many heathen pairs of shoes, mostly old Vans. Anyway, you were on fire, and cheered me up after a depressing Saturday, but that's another story. Thanks for committing to these daily videos, you're the tops!

Good morning. Enjoyed the shopping and history of Glassboro College / Rowan University. So interesting! The first pitcher you showed us, in your delightful home, had such a neat little detail around the rim. To me it looked like half slices of lemons or oranges. All your purchases were wonderful. I’m new to your channel and am really enjoying it.

Sweet meat 🍖 😂 I'm 61 and not a grown up yet. TY Scott. I love shopping with you. 39.00 was a nice price on that vase. Here in Phoenix it would be 75.00, at least. The antique stretch glass plates for 3.00! So pretty. That mansion ❤ Rowan. The Park Avenue pattern is very cool! I better stop now.

A Park Avenue bowl identical to the one you mentioned came down to me through my father's sister and belonged to my paternal Grandmother who passed when I was 5 months old. A few years back, I found 8 dessert bowls in the same pattern and combined them with the big bowl as a Christmas gift to my sister so she would have a piece from that grandmother who died 7 years before Sis was born.

I LOVE the three lacquer sweet meat boxes and sets! Around the time we got married (31 yrs ago), my husband gave me a vintage lacqer heart-shaped candy box. I'd love to get that out again and display it, but various factors have prevented me from unpacking my vintage trinkets since we moved a few years back. (Moved from a two story house to a one story, and I just don't have room!) What a day you had, indeed, to find these items. That pitcher is so impressive!

Wow! So much interesting information in this video. And even though I'm originally from Woodbury, my brother and family lived in Glassboro for over 30 years and my best friend Jo lives about 10 minutes from there. You've met her. Another great historical town close by is Pitman. I enjoy seeing every place you go. And when I was young, Glassboro State was a popular school for us area kids. Thanks for another great video in your holiday series. The glassware was amazing!

Love that Eastlake 1880. I would take that home. I would love to shop your area thrift stores for some of those pretty china patterns to find decorative salad/dessert plates to put with my Lenox Solitaire china for variety in my place settings. Can you imagine the impact of 100 million dollars in that time? To do what you do, I would need to wear gloves before I went digging through piles or even searching for glass because of the fusty crusty stuff on donated glass. Eew. I know you keep wet wipes to clean your hands. I agree with you that books are the best resource. I do think you can trust Karen Williams identification. She researches exactly as you do and has an extensive library of books. My goodness you did find some EAPG beauties! Doesn’t a true crack change the sound of the glass if you gently ping it with your finger? I’m building my library of glass research books. Would you suggest the press glass book for my first EAPG resource or another? I like your old sweatshirt. It looks warm, soft and only the cuffs are shredded so I say keep wearing it. 😊
