Everything is like 4th world. Had to take my husband a couple of weeks ago to the Emergency Room for severe abdominal pain and were told there was a 5 hour waiting list in one of the newest and biggest hospitals in Calgary so we went to another hospital with a waiting time of 2 hours! I've lived in Canada for 10 years before my parents and I moved away due to work. My parents were so happy when Trudeau became PM but not long after... that happiness became horror. He is destroying all our rights and freedoms slowly. From sending money to other countries, forcing people to get vaccinated and shaming those who dont.... to even calling our truckers terrorists! A Nieghbour has been waiting one and one half years for heart surgery! He had a heart attack about one week ago and was rushed to hospital, a three hour trip. He survived so far but now is waiting in hospital for double bypass surgery, hopefully he gets that in about four or five days. This country is grinding to a halt with the present governments, nothing government related works! Also a lot of other services are barely sputtering along. Time is of the essence now. Enough!

I came back to Canada as a licensed helicopter mech and as a paramedic. I was told that I would have to go back to school or challenge the tests. But even if I past the tests I would still need to go back to school for 18 months and 24 months. So instead I'm driving a truck. Which is now in jeopardy because of the price of fuel. Ask me if I am thinking Canada was the wrong pick of where to live after my military service.

When my grandparents were escaping the Soviet Union, they waited for two days in bitter cold outside the passport office, only to be denied and have to go back the next week to do the same thing. It's a tactic to force people to stay in a country they want to flee. They don't have to make it illegal, they just have to make it so difficult most people give up. It’s not much better for provincial services. My town in BC has many people that cannot get a primary care doctor. The doctors we do have are cranky, overtired, rushed, and new ones are not as well trained in family practice as they used to be. Wait times for specialists and things like MRI’s are incredibly long.

Wait times for passports are one thing, but the wait times within the canadian healthcare system are far more severe. I had to wait a month just to get an appointment with a throat specialist, and the appointment not until late september! I dont know what is even wrong with me, but based on the severity of the symptoms, it could be cancer, yet i have to wait 4 months just to get a diagnosis? I wonder how many people in this country die everyday because of this? You should be addressing this Pierre. Canadian lives are literally at stake because of our healthcare system is broken. People should not have to wait months to see a specialist or get treatment!

There is a large back up of wait times due to Covid restrictions! People died of Cancer due to this disaster! They had to wait longer for life saving surgeries because they shut down operating theatres during Covid. Absolutely bonkers!

I attended a meeting representing a private sector company. There were 4 other private sector reps. There were 27 people from the federal government in attendance…well kinda….they were all “working from home” ….anyways the meeting could have taken 15 minutes but it lasted 90 minutes complete with a 15 minute “health break”. Bureaucracy is the lowest form of work….

One session of listening to Trudeau fumble his way through a simple sentence should have been the first red flag. Everything else he has done (or hasn't) confirms he would have been better off sticking to being a drama teacher. I often wonder why we put so much emphasis on being educated or teaching our children to live honourably when our own government in power are full of lies and there is no accountability.
