you should advertise for free electronics recycling ,then people would bring there old electronics to you and you could keep what you want and take the rest to a recycler

Pete is doing the best videos for people in this game at any level. There's so much advice in the haul videos as well videos about specific products that sell. While others have morphed into promoting products and programs and feathering their own nests, Pete is keeping it real and helping the community. Thanks....

I agree. But for me in CA, I discovered that thrift shops is definitely not the place to find bargains. $15-$25 for an old VCR, Jeans for $10-12, framed wall pictures for $25. Estate sales are pricey, garage sales you have to drive park and browse so much it's super time consuming. Sourcing is pretty tough out here.

I'd agree that thrift stores can be too pricy. I'll be thrilled when we're back in garage sale season. But I'm OK with electronics at $10 or less at Goodwill or Savers. Best of luck.

I finally got a deal off craigs, but not for resale. Needed new desk office chair... well new to me, I bought new once and was very nonplussed. didn't last a month. Anyways, I was looking on craigs for one, guy wanted 20 bucks for a nice looking high backed office chair. It was in great shape when I got there so I handed him the tweety and loaded it up. looked it up when I got home, new it sells for 1079 dollars on special. Why the hell doesn't that happen with resale stuff, usually can't find squat. I wouldn't try to sell this chair on Ebay, too big, shipping a nightmare. Nice to know the bargains are out there tho. You have a good day, it's your vids and name that made me decide to check craigs, so thanks for that.

PETE about shops that are stopping accepting electronics . I have a local habitat thrift that told me after they sell what electronics they have that is it. The reason ? They make Big money on furniture. Problem ? They will alienate a customer base that won't even bother coming in that would potentially buy something else

Just the best videos any would be hustler could watch. I am reentering the fray after 8 years. Two questions for you. 1. I looked at your store. 500 plus items listed. All Buy it nows. None with Best Offer. Do you list your auctions under another account? 2. Do you close your auctions on the weekend at any particular time of day? Thanks for sharing your insight!!

EDUCATIONAL VIDEO REQUEST I think it would be a tremendous value to you viewers if you could do a video on how you do your bookkeeping. Specifically in regards to when you get large amounts of items at one time. This is an area where many resellers have a hard time and in many cases they'll sell for months and months without keeping track and find themselves is a mess. I went my first for months without keeping track of anything. Here's what I do when I make large purchases at auctions of hundreds, sometimes thousands of items. I get a count on how many items are sellable. Then I just divide the total cost by amount of items. All I do is keep a running cost average. Every month when I do my books, if I have purchases receipts, I add the items and value to my current inventory and come up with a new average. When I record my sales and expenses, I subtract the items and total cogs (average cost per item) and make sure the average cost per item is still the same, rounding down to the nearest whole penny. For more expensive items (items that cost me $5 and up) that I know will sell fast, I use specific match. It would be nice to see more resellers discussing inventory bookkeeping so many of these newbies don't find themselves in a bind. I panicked for almost two weeks trying to figure out a bookkeeping method once I learned it was more complicated than I thought. When I first started, I thought you just kept all your receipts from everything and write it all off at the end of the year. Now that I learned it, it's a piece of cake. But for someone who has no idea what they're doing in regards to bookkeeping, I see how some people could go an entire year without keeping track of things and find themselves in a bind trying to figure it all out before April. Lol Love your videos sir. Keep up the good work!

Your videos are amazing and so down to earth just how it is in life! I have a question for you or any of your subscribers. I have a Technics audio system I have had for 15 years or longer put up. It's 4 separate towers with the equalizer etc. Would you sell them all together or separately. Would all together be worth more money over all? And if so how would you or anyone who can help me ship such a big electronics with it being 4 set tower piece? Thanks to anyone who can help me. And thank you for your videos they help me so much.

I hate to say it but I'm going to give up on selling on Ebay. I always underestimate how much it will cost to ship somebody something. I just sold a pair of shoes. It got all the way to his city and now they are shipping it back (usps) not sure why they just said error. Now I have to pay to reship it back to them. Not only that but paypal is holding the money he paid me for like 2 weeks???? They said its normal. Smh somebody make me feel better lol.
