Sounds like a play on Omnisphere. Synth-plastic-dead sound. Some think they take old kontainers always modify and uaaap new library name.

Do you think Tundra is more useful then? Thanks for the video!
@bfree455 жыл бұрын
Hmm really depends! Tundra just does that really lush sound while this is more intimate, Tundra is unique but more traditional in its section sizes and instrument choices, Neo is very niche in that aspect. I think NEO might be more niche for some, but for others it will be more versatile, like I could do intimate/emotional scores with both, but you can do this sort of avant- garde and synth wave styles with neo too, even some pop/jazz style music.

@@bfree45 I almost picked up Tundra during the end of the year sale that just happened... But decided against it as is just sounds too niche to my ears and while I have a few projects that would benefit from it, I was having a hard time justifying even the sale cost at the time. Someday. But NEO seems like it would pair really well with something like Olafur Arnalds Chamber Evolutions - A library I use all the time to get that intimate but off feel, great for drama. I also own the British Drama Toolkit but still haven't used it in a project. The majority of my orchestral libraries are Spitfire based, coming at it from that angle, do you think NEO is worth it?
@bfree455 жыл бұрын
Bryan R Thompson I think it would be worth it if you like that sound, I think it will pair well with those, but give you more options for articulations and the synth stuff. If you only want long textures I’d say the chamber evos or BDT are enough, but if you want it for the sections with more articulations and control, it’s worth it for sure.

@@bfree45 I just picked it up, made it a little easier with the extra discount you get for owning any previous Albions, it's the synth stuff I'm after anyway, but the divisi sections are a welcome addition!

You have Storm Choir Ultimate and you aren’t talking about that instead? 😦

LOL That's for an upcoming video: a choir shootout featuring Storm Ultimate, Dominus Pro, (probably the new Oceania 2 as well...)
