It's held up really well. It's been in one glass cabinet or another all those years. I HATE dust, so I do my best to keep all of my builds as dust-free as I can! It just ruins models!

I really like the ghost flames on your dragster. I'd like to learn how to do that and try it some time. I appreciate you sharing your memories of the artistic greats you grew up with. You were blessed to be part of their circle and their influence obviously rubbed off on you. We can enjoy and appreciate their art through you sharing them with us.

The ghost flames are pretty easy actually. Maybe I'll do a how-to sometime!? Yeh, I feel pretty lucky to have been a part of model history for so long. I think that's the part I love, getting to know some of these guys who influenced our hobby so much, and learning from them. I never got to meet Ed Roth, although we conversed by LETTER way back when! (I still have them!) I've known Von Franco for quite a while, Tom Daniel and I have been friends for 40 years at least, and Denny Johnson (inventor of the Zingers!) and I have been friends for a long time as well. All great dudes, just down to Earth people like you and me. THEY are the ones we can thank for a lot of what we have now! I'm so stoked about the reissue programs with these model companies, bringing back so many great kits from all those years ago!
