Just seeing this two years after posting, so no one will probably see this comment. As someone with a healthcare/ science background, everything she says about the physical properties of the plant and the process of making this is totally accurate. She isn't making things up at all. I can't verify the health claims of course first hand but the logic seems sound. I am totally subscribing just based on the fact that she hasn't made anything up in this video and is extremely knowledgeable about what she says.

My grandma always soaked them in honey and lemon juice. Told us drink this lemonade, it is good for you". I didnt know until years later that she was right lol. I never made a tincture from them, though. I just assumed since grandma used honey and lemon that was all that was needed to get all of their medicinal properties!

There's lavender lemonade, and hibiscus tea, echanacia chamomile, (I think I spelled echanacia wrong)😂 and botanical kombuchas, elderberry tonics and juices out there now some of the floral juices are pretty good. And I even see edible flowers more often now. I had cupcakes with edible flowers on top and rose oil infused in the icing. And edible orchids. People are finally starting to realize how useful and beneficial plants are though other cultures like Chinese medicine has been using plants since 300 bc and Native American people of course. My grand mom used beets and brown onions to dye Easter eggs. I think this stuff is fascinating. ❤🌿🌺🌸🪴🌼🌾

I love lilacs and feel you rage BUT my neighbor has one and is allergic to it. She has't cut it down. Is it possible you ex-neighbor is allergic to it? I can't imagine anyone being so hateful towards a lilac to actually cut it down - unless it was causing them great pain.

I love love love the scent of lilacs. And lillies. When I lived down south alot of mountain people said that if you crave something you should eat it. Particularly pregnant women. My cravings were potatoes and the taste of cigarette smoke. I ate the potatoes. I'm a firm believer that most illnesses can be healed or at least helped with food. It's just a matter of learning plants to help which illnesses and how to prepare them.

Remember that lightly abraising a small clove of garlic tucked in an ear & taped for the night will clear an ear infection, you can do the same for sinuses as inhaling the fumes of the garlic will kill off whatever is in there, salt water solution snuffled out of a spoon also clears a sinus infection but it stings as salt water does when it makes contact with the infected tissue but its doing its thing. A neilmed bottle or neti pot are available to do same if it ever happens again. I hope your lilac project worked out.

I have fond memories of lilacs myself. I had a swing at my grandmother's farm that hung from the cherry tree that grew by the gate that was placed at the end of the row of lilacs that ran all the way from the road to the farmhouse. The cherry tree was a very chatty cherry tree too... she passionately loved the sky and enthusiastically regaled me with her love stories! I didn't realize that at the time of course, i just thought i was having my own private thoughts, hahaha. So anyway, it makes absolute sense that i should make some of this lilac tincture, especially because, thanks to that memory, every time i use it i will be infusing myself with Life! & Love! Just what my doctor ordered!! Actually i just wanted to ask you a question, so if you've suffered through all my pre-question babble then here it is: i've got some 'Swedish Bitters' dried herbs in vodka and some in spiced rum (because i thought why not and now i know why not, omg i will never do that again!!) I've also got a gallon of fire cider made with half commercial acv and half homemade acv. They've been doing their thing for a few months now and i just syphon off a weeks worth at a time and then top it back off because i just don't feel like f---ing around with straining them. Do you know anything about doing it like that! Like could all the plant matter be decomposing and releasing toxic gases into the mix or something that i'm then guzzling down?? I do shake them up pretty regularly. Sorry for such a lengthy 'comment' here, i am just no good at keeping it brief and to the point... i once had a friend who called me Babylon because i babbled on and on and on....
