Let's Make A Physical VR Button In Unreal Engine 5.3

I'm still learning, but I think this works pretty good for most of what I need. If anyone has ideas of how to make the motion smoother, please let me know!

I guess not having the box collider attach to the moving button would fix that jitter where the box collider goes down and then "ends overlap" and tries to go up but then hits the hand collider again :D but great simple way to make a moving button. Thanks!

Did you make sure that the box collider was parented under each hand correctly? That's where I would check first

you will need the media as a second bluprint with it's own logic but you can then use a blueprint interface so when the button is pressed, it tells the media blueprint to play.

How do you check if you've pressed the button?

Get the buttons posisition, have it go into a = the half way point, and than plug that into a branch that, if true, resets the Do Once node. If this doesn't make sense, I can update this video to show what I mean step by step :)
