Animal Crossing really isn’t a series for me, tbh. I get why people like them but they just don’t appeal to me. That said, this idea sounds a whole lot more interesting than something like New Horizons ever did. The fact that there’s always more to do, more to work toward feels a lot better than “oh just make it look pretty ig”. I’m surprised this isn’t like… what the games actually are tbh. Having each milestone bring a ton of new content, QoL additions and especially the big final reward of an entire new island to customize seems like such a perfect natural evolution of everything this series tries to be that I can’t believe Nintendo hasn’t actually done it yet. Idk if I would play it, still not really my taste, but it seems absolutely perfect for the fans.
