Let’s Make Gob3. Gari and Beans With Fried Plantain

Gob3 is a very popular Ghanaian street food. It is relatively inexpensive, absolutely delicious and very nutritious.
Ingredients:
2 cups black eye peas
2 pieces momone (about 45 grams)
1/2 cup palm oil
2 habanero
50 grams ginger
1 large onion
3 tablespoons shrimp powder
3 tablespoons herring powder
1 seasoning cube
4 ripe (yellow) plantains
Oil for frying plantains
Some gari
1 large avocado

Nicely done. I do it exactly how you do it but I add corned beef to the stew when it's cooked 🔥 then pour in the cooked beans to allow the beans to absorb the flavours. Mmmmm, yummy! 😋 😋 😋 😋

I cook mine with a pressure cooker. Only use the pressure cooker if you're familiar with it. It cooks 🔥 faster and softer. You'll know when it's ready if you cook it the way she did hers- it becomes soft, the colour changes and it thickens up. Bon appetite. 😄😄
