Follow along as I take $1.49 pinch clamp and make a awesome welding strong hand for stabilizing parts while tack welding. It’s a simple idea and for the low budget it works perfect! Appreciate the follow’s and the likes!!!

I learned not to use a regular drill bit on thin metal the hard way, this is extremely good advice. Always, always use a step drill in thin metal if you can.

Rob, Rob, Rob. I enjoy the tips, but I wish that I had millions so I could watch your tune ups on my race team. Really nice to see you in action. Met you personally thru Jim Campbell several years ago.

Great idea! It inspired an alternative method. I'll copy it but put a square hole at the clamp end and use a square bar so that I don't have to weld the clamp end. That'll allow me to adjust the distance from the clamp by sliding it in and out and it won't try to roll over on me while under pressure.

Great MacGyvering. Looking at the flat bar tube had me wondering why you didn't canabilize the spring and make the two part clamp over in that. ✌ 😃

Works well. Low pressure high volume. Has been in service for several years. Not a critical Application. But I know exactly what you’re talking about.
