I use an 8 cup Pyrex measuring cup instead of a glass pan. It makes pouring into jars much easier. I like the oven method better than the stove top boiling method.

Hi! Because the goal is low and slow I don’t know if you could be successful using a microwave but it might be worth the try! Just don’t do a big amount so you don’t waste a lot of butter if it doesn’t work! 😅

When stored in the right conditions and prepared correctly, it should last for a long time! I keep mine on the counter and just use it as I need it without ever having an issue. I have friends that keep theirs in the fridge and just take it out right before they need it to let it soften a little. I even use it in my coffee… so good! 😊
