I worked at Dollywood DreamMore Resort in the morning. Came home in the pouring rain. I had driving in that stuff. We were really busy for breakfast so I was tired. Now that I'm 80 I sometimes come home and take a nap. I get up at 5 to be there at 6:30. I usually get home about noon. My kitty LillyBella is there to greet me. It's just me and her now. So I don't do much until I get a day off. I've been downsizing my Fall decor. I make up arrangement of what I have and give to the gals at work. It makes them happy and I'm happy to purge the items. It's a win win. Yes I get lots of inspiration from you and Donna. My house is squkeey clean. Lol. Have a great day, and say a prayer for my girls and grandkids in Fla with Hurricane approaching. Hi Julie! I have been cleaning, sorting and purging. I also have the same little teapot shaker exactly. I use it for decor. Magic Eraser works really well for cleaning it! You are an inspiration to me for many reasons. I sit here alone. My husband is here but he doesn't do much, sleep. I get so lonely. I have physical limitations also. He is fighting cancer. I do find I am pushing hard to do more around the house. My problem is the next day or two, I can't move. Watching you is a joy!!!

I always set out of stuff on my counter in my kitchen so that I won’t forget to repurchase it. I was going to share if you didn’t already know when I use one of the SOS pads and I don’t use it all up. I will put it in a small storage bag and put it in my freezer. I have not been very productive at home today. I kept my little grand baby and was pooped out by the time I got home. 😜 I did wipe out my daughter n law’s refrigerator and cleaned and organized one of her cabinets. I plan to clean my carpet on my basement steps tomorrow and move a few things vacuum behind them and spray for bugs in the basement . I order off of a web site (Do your own pest control). I usually spray as I clean in the basement. I just take my time and I will ask my hubby to move a few things for me. I done most of it already. Well, this is my plan hopefully I get it done.

I hang clothes and fold towels or whatever when the dryer goes off. If that oyster sauce taste like oysters then I would leave it out. You went from 1 hole to 5 holes and the shaker looks so pretty. It is the cutest. Cinder had a lot to say today. Your patio is so nice.

Hi Julie..I make fried rice receipe with baby shrimp for years. I use green onion instead of reg onions. It's always is a big hit when I take it to parties. I usually use low sodium soy sauce bc alot of ppl have hi blood pressure.Took it to summer picnic this yr n ppl went crazy over it!

I am definitely going to try your recipe, and I really agree some things taste even better as a leftover. It's on the menu Friday, everyone's here for dinner then and even the kids love any kind of rice and veggies with some kind of meat. You know you have some really adorable grankids, there so blessed with famialy. Not to many have grans around anymore with people working later in life. Oh my goodness Julie, I feel exhausted just listening to your to do’s.😮‍💨 I had a lazy day, hubbies home sick, and this afternoon my daughter, granddaughter and I went and had our nails done. Though I had mine taken off because I’m getting a knee replacement in two weeks and gel nails and/or polish is a no-no. My nails are as thin as tissue paper…yuck. I think an antique dresser would be so nice for the coffee bar. It would have the drawers or maybe doors underneath that would open. Wish I had room for a coffee bar. My day was busy, Dr.appointment in the morning and some thrifting after that. My husband had grilled cheese and soup ready for me when I got home. Did some laundry in the afternoon. Had a great day! I lived in the Philippines when my dad was in the Navy. We ate fried rice quite often. Even now, as a momma, Nonna, and a wife, I fix it at least twice a month. I have used all kinds of meats! It is a staple. Love your porch! I love decorating for fall. I think your "teapot" must have been a decor piece in someones kitchen. The gooey stuff may have just been cooking grease and dust. I did laugh when you were filling it up. If I had done that, I would have had cumin in my shaker instead of pumpkin spice!

We used to make the shrimp fried rice homemade all the time and there’s an Asian market near me and I would go and buy the onions the long stringy onions that are like a noodle type. I would use that and we would make it all the time I haven’t done it in a while, but I know my son my older son he does real good to me better than me. I thought all my boys how to cook. 🥘

Julie, have you tried substitute some spices for Gordon's Grub Rub sold at the Academy, HEB, Kroger, Walmart. I will admit that HEB and Walmart is price gouging the Grub Rub, it is much reasonable to get at Academy or even online from the distribution center in Katy.

Measure twice always and keep it in your phone. I do the same thing. My house is 1929 so anything I bring in this house needs to fit where it’s gonna go so I measured constantly my shelves in the kitchen. Everything needs to be measured I had to order custom windows because I didn’t like the new windows how smaller they are and I like my original 1929 Windows size so I ordered custom windows to match. It cost me a penny. I need to get the young man to install them now he was tied up with another job, but I think he’s done.

I buy bulk almost everything toilet paper, paper towels, dishwashing soap, all the seasonings, canned goods I always buy cases or so of canned goods I hate to go to the store all the time. I rather have things that I need even if I run out of fresh milk I use either powdered milk or shelf stable milk for cooking.
