@JosJerseyJournals2 жыл бұрын
Rachel!!!!!! Hiya lol 😆 thank you so much for stopping by and liking my mad scientist techniques 🤣🤣 so Ofcource you don't have to add the clue. You can just make coffee stain. But the glue is a sealing agent that's allows the stain to act as a decoupage. 🤣 I probably should have explained that huh lol 😆 basically to birds one stone. But you can still just apply like a paint as Stain even though there is glue. I hope you try it. Mix it up 😃experiment 🤗😘

Thanks for sharing the stain. The coffee satin has vanilla extract which has alcohol in it and that is acting as a preventative. The cinnamon stain has no alcohol in it so I am wondering how it is going to hold up. If it gets funky I think a few teaspoons of rubbing alcohol may do the trick. Why the glue? Won't it stain the paper without it?
@JosJerseyJournals3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely just like if you were coffee dying paper. The glue helps with sticking better. Like decoupaging.
@ajennyforyourthoughtscincy3 жыл бұрын
So, I was going to ask why use the glue as well. I saw that you called it a decoupage stain so I wondered - are you using it to stick things down because my impression was that you were just using it as a dye instead of coffee dying. But if it’s a dye, still not clear on the need for the glue. Sorry - trying to understand!
@JosJerseyJournals3 жыл бұрын
It's ok I use it for both the glue acts as a binding agent as well. So staining and gluing things down. So I guess a two in one. I like the effect I even use it on already coffee dyed papers to. I hope that helps 🤗
