If you want to use the palette style UV coloring method, I go through that in both of the above linked videos.
Additional info:
I've been modeling in Blender since about 2015 but more recently in the past couple of years. I've been making games and assets in Unity since 2011 and I'm currently working on a multiplayer RTS game that I'll be happy to announce later this year.
I use a Canon Lumix GH5 camera to record my videos with the Olympus 17mm F1.2 lens as well as the Laowa F2.0 7.5mm compact dreamer lens. Sometimes I also use a GoPro Hero 8, a Insta360 One X and a Sony rx100 mark vii. For audio I use a Rode NTG shotgun microphone connected to a RME Fireface UFX II sound card.

I love watching your videos! I look at your finished images before watching to see if I can create the model on my own. Then I watch your video to see what I did right and correct what I did wrong. One time I saw he went 1.5 seconds over the time and he was honest about it. It definitely doesn’t seem like he’s cheating. Video doesn’t look sped up. The mouse movements between actions looks natural.

If you ever run out of things to model, please model any of these: battlestar galatica viper mark 1, the galactica, aliens drop ship, xenomorph, football stadium, dr evil, elvis, el vira, battle beyond the the stars ship, yamato or a battleship,the ship from red dwarf intro, tokyo tower, burj khalifa, Borei-class submarine or maybe ww2 sub,the space shuttle, saturn v rocket, japanese rock garden, blue whale, orca, oil tanker, fish factory ship, small fishing boat, golden gate bridge, biplane swordfish mark 2, f15, b17, p-38 twin prop fighter, garbage dump truck or construction vehicles.

Love your content! It has reinvigorated me to to put my ideas into game development. For the longest time, I was discouraged because of Asset development, material etc. Low poly is certainly the way to go for a solo developer. One thing I run into when importing into UE4 is degenerate tangents and nearly zero binormals errors. I am not sure if it has something to do with the way we do UV maps (scaling to 0 and choosing colors) or mesh? My meshes look ok. I do auto merge vertices, check for flipped normals etc. Maybe a video on importing a model you create into UE4 as another video suggestion? Thanks for all you do!

Hello! Just found your channel, these speed modelings are super impressive! I'm just getting started with Blender and I notice you're making a lot of loop cuts, resulting in many extra unneeded faces. is there a fast way to get rid of all the unnecessary edges when you're done or do you have to go through it manually? I'm trying to learn low-poly modeling in blender (coming from sketchUp) for something where every polygon counts so it'd be nice to be able to clean up the model easily. Any advice? Thanks a lot !

It's a pretty normal workflow to make a model with fucking horrible topology and polycount, but physically looks like what you want, and thus mock it up nice and quickly; and then to go back through with a shrinkwrap modifier etc. to make the model again, this time paying very, very careful attention to those two things.

I have one question. How do you import and export your great Blender Models into Unity. I cant export it out of Blender. I tried much stuff from the internet like use Blender 2.80 and the Beta, 2.79 and install Unity 2018 but no tried work so i aks you as a developer of games and Blender Artist: How can i export my Models from Blender as FBX file (or wich file format do you use) and import it into Unity. Ok i know how to import but not to export from Blender. And great Video about the great Unity Video. And jea, its not realy a game but every thing starts small :)
