Hey @Imphenzia, as usual, awesome video. Regarding the camera glitch, you should update the position of the camera using LateUpdate instead of Update. This way the camera will be moved after all other calculations are done and it will feel smooth. Keep up the good work!

Love the videos and I've been watching some of your low poly videos and I'm struggling to get the cavity shader (where there is a lighter colour at the edges of polygons)from blender to unity and it only shows a base colour compared to the really nice looking blender model, if you know a fix for me please let me know it would really improve my models. Thank you.

I have similar issue. I use Imphenzia's color palet and colors in Unity looks really wierd. Strong red in blender looks like ugly orange in unity etc. And in this video we can see similar issue where color of his models looks way better in blender than in unity. Did u find some solution?
@Jon123123 жыл бұрын
@@stepik0dvo No, I didn't find a solution but by UV unwrapping the model (look up a tutorial) and if you create a texture on photoshop or a free photoshop like app and input it in the you can achieve whatever texture you want. I'm yet to do this as my laptop broke a few weeks back (hopefully I'll get a new one soon) but there are plenty tutorials to do this. This isn't the nice outline for each polygon but I think that's only for blender rendering and it doesn't appear on unity as far as I know. Sorry I can't really help much more I'm quite new to asset modelling. If I find a better solution I'll hopefully help you out. 🙂 gl

Do you mean how the edges are more defined in the viewport because I can tell you how to do that?
@abrahamordonezzarco7853 жыл бұрын
@@thespectator6858 I mean how the edges shine, like they where velbed edges.. they are brighter than faces..
@thespectator68583 жыл бұрын
@@abrahamordonezzarco785 Okay, go to to viewport shading options( the arrow next to the rendering view port) then tick the box that says cavity. Mess around with the 2 settings that appear until you find something you like.

I dont use unity but I imagine if you create a blank project, remove what you dont want and save as a template project it would probably be a bit faster?

brilliant! please more low-poly Blender + Unity ... but using the drag/n/drop coding instead! thank you
@kgaming75993 жыл бұрын
"Drag 'n' drop" (aka visual language) has way too many limitations and is probably less efficient. I doubt he'll do that, but he might do it 🙂
@ideallyyours3 жыл бұрын
@@kgaming7599 Drag and drop is like LEGO vs woodworking/machining: You get modularity at the expense of freeforming. Although, to use the LEGO analogy, the drag and drop system must have enough subparts to cover most use cases.

for this game i realy would suggest moving the environment, not the player.
@tylergillette70503 жыл бұрын
Why do you suggest that? Just curious. It seems like having a player movement/camera follow rig would be a lot less resource intensive than unity constantly updating the environment locations of multiple collision objects

Great video, I'm Still fairly new to Blender/Unity, would be cool if you could make a video from scratch to finish for a Small Mobile game (And maybe how to put it on the app store and Admob configuration.
