As a female learning golf, its great to see someone new to the game share the struggles that we are all going through. But would say to minimise the negative thought process - if you think bad shots will happen then they will happen. Be confident in your ability and focus on where you are now compared to where you were 6 months ago. Great video - look forward to the next one 😁⛳️

Range/Sim to course is not an easy transition! Something I’ve learned very quickly 🤣 The slight change in lies and ball position above & below the feet even on the fairway can offset most everyday golfers. Keep it up

Exactly what I would tell her. Two different games between grass and mat. I avoid hitting off mats for the most part. Shoot, I try to avoid the range as much as possible too. Lol

Hi Mia, golf is hard so don't worry about not playing your best golf all the time. I've been playing 25 years, got down to 8 hcp and now back to 11. Struggling to find any form so far this year. My golf scores this year are for my course which is a par 71. 80,80,88,87,84 and 90!. You will get better and you will have more off days than good days. Concentrate on every shot from the tee shot to a 2 foot putt. You will get better. I've heard lots of KZbinrs say they play better off camera than on. It's got to be hard to concentrate when trying to make content to interact with your audience. Keep up the good work 👍👍

I'm new to your channel and enjoy your videos. For a fairly new golfer you have an excellent swing. I love your upbeat attitude (necessary when playing golf), and your personality is absolutely magnetic. The videos are well designed - very professional. Keep up the good work.

From my point of view you did great. I know that I am never going to be a pro (yah right!!) nor even a low handicap (I am just not going to play enough to do that). As you can tell I’m a relative newbie as well. So why go out there - because it’s fun. I don’t have to play 5 times a week but when I do go out I look to have fun. You are being very hard on yourself as many of us are but I think you did great considering you are filming this and the course is not what you are used to. I very much like your commentary because it is much more relatable to me than watching a pro on KZbin. Keep it up and please do more of these types. Thanks.

So I just discovered you by accident...this was a fun vlog! Your personality is amazing and you're so fun! You do a great job editing as well...the music and sound effects you use are on point! No need to apologize for not striking your irons well...as a golfer myself I understand that sometimes you just have a bad round. Keep it up! You just earned yourself another subscriber.

Great vlog, Mia. You're closer to "real" golf than you think for most amateurs .. yes, me included! LOL .. You'll have your good days, and you'll have your bad days, it's going to happen. Just keep in mind to try and block out the bad shots, and think a bit more positive about the next one coming up, rather than "I'm not going to make this", think "I'm going to get this one close". It does help! Keep up the grind!!!

Really, really, really well done! Good honest playing blogg. 👍☺️ Quick tip for next time on the range is to hit some iron shots with your feet together. Just half a dozen shots each time you use a different iron on the range. It will give you feel of rotating more and help you sync your powerful lower body. 👌 Best of luck. ☺️

that it wasnt lucky that you scored that well that day, its a glimpse at the potential you have to be that consistent! And it certainly drives your passion to keep going for it! When i was a 6 Handicap I needed to play at least 3 times a week to keep that going, as i get older i find that playing is better for me then practicing, i use the range for warming up and trying stuff but you need to play like 3 times a week to get consistent I think.

I've been playing this game for 25+ years now. In the last two months I've ranged from a best round of 7 under to a worst round of 87. That's why the phrase I've heard most used in golf is last time my (irons, woods, putter, or wedges) worked better.

Your awesome. Keep positive and things will continue to improve. I’m not a pro but here is my advice, less sim time with the irons. Practice irons off real grass at the range. Mats seems to cover-up bad shots (fat/thin). Second, spend more time on the golf course so your comfort level grows. Keep your expectations real and don’t worry about how other golfers are doing just focus on your own game. Best of luck.

Mia, its real golf.. most youtube golfers are already PGA pros or very low HC so don't beat yourself up. Only thing, I noticed is that, (and maybe its the camera and being in performing mode) you seem to rush your setup routine and look where the ball had gone before you hit it, even on the greens. Probably my favourite video you have done. Keep it up, well done.

@williamrogers857 Жыл бұрын
Secret to irons. Place ball behind lowest point of swing. Keep eyes on lowest point. Decent angle equal to club bottom layed on ground at lowest point . Come down to 2.5 degrees 6 inches from ball. Good luck. Check Paul Wilson's Body Swing,"Hitting Irons Pure." Good Luck Remember 2.5 degree decent from 6 inches.

Range and sim is good for working on things but you have to remember there’s no consequences if you hit a bad shot. My 2 cents worth of what I would advise is commit to playing at least 1 actual round of golf a week even if it’s just a quick 9 holes, be more confident when hitting your irons but just in general mostly as having doubt creep in might cause tension which increases the chances of a bad shot, on delicate chip shots it might help sometimes to have softer hands to help it pop up and not run out so much but that’s something you should work on at a short game range if you can and lastly the important part of golf putting, I personally think your stroke looks too much like you’re trying to caress the ball into the hole rather than stroking it with confidence and the other 2 things is work on your pace control since you left so many putts really short where you’re scrambling not to 3 putt and lastly take more time reading what the putt is going to do more to do with uphill or downhill putts. With improvements to putting you could easily wipe 5 shots off a round. If you do read this Mia please like the comment since it would make the advice feel appreciated thanks

Mia, a nice vlog but in my opinion get the negative thoughts out of your head. Concentrate on one swing thought. Be more positive and maybe talk through the sort rather than any negative thoughts. It looked like you were decelerating a touch on your 7 iron❤. This is golf though and if you want a confidence boost I'll take a round with you.
