It took me almost TWO weeks to make this comment, but I've compiled a list of every single phantom that has helped RT that I could verify, please like and boost this comment so all the peeps that carried Dan on their shoulders can get recognition. I'll leave the full list below for those interested, but here at the start I'll include a summary of some of the most notable players and stats. We had a whopping total of 185 players appear throughout this entire playthrough. Dan was revived by phantoms a total of 131 times during this playthrough, with the first ever revive being Gard as Yellow Toad, which was their only revive of the run. The top three for most revives are- Emeraldym: 15 Revives. pbug: 13 Revives. Spaghet: 9 Revives. The first phantom to ever appear is Nyasters as Toadette, of which they only appeared one other time in the entire playthrough, when Dan is going through the Bowser stages, for clarity, appearances are counted on a per level basis. If they don't appear in a level, they didn't make the list. I also had no choice but to exclude some who exclusively used non-English characters as their name, if I could type them, I would've added them to the list, but as I couldn't, I didn't. Top three for most appearances are- Jimmy: 25 Evefish: 24 pbug: 15 Notably, Jimmy is also the first person Dan left for dead, and has haunted him ever since. pbug is one of the more impressive players who notably made it in top three for both revives and appearances, they were the main player responsible for helping Dan through grinding for Purple coins, which in my book crowns them as the Flower Coin MVP. Playthrough MVPs overall, combining both revives and total appearances are as follows. Jimmy: 31, 25 Appearances, 6 Revives. Evefish: 29. 24 Appearances, 5 Revives. pbug: 28. 15 Appearances, 13 Revives. An honorable mention goes to Emeraldym who would rank at 4th overall, with 26 overall, 11 appearances, 15 revives, and notably was with Dan in the Final Final Challenge level, of which that team also gets honorable mentions. Final Final Challenge Team: Chris, as Mario, who revived Dan and his teammates multiple times before being first to leave. Emeraldym as Peach who helped guide Dan through a majority of the level before also leaving, but not before putting a standee down at the end to help Dan and the last player survive. And last but not least, Spaghet as Luigi, who carried him through the hardest and final level in the game, and refusing to leave Dan behind, landing him as the MVP of the Final Final Challenge stage, and as a hero in our hearts. And finally, the last phantoms to appear as Dan revisits world 1-1 after full completion are as follows- Emeraldym as Peach. george as Nabbit. and Marcel Jr as Mario. With George and Marcel making no prior appearances in the playthrough beforehand. This concludes the summary, and the first reply to this comment will be the full list of all the raw data I collected to put this together, thank god for these heroes because it was truly a community effort to keep this man alive until the end. I know RT jokes about gacha games on occasion, but seeing how often he gambles in cute Nintendo games I'm kind of glad he doesn't do more then just joke about torturing chat with them (and as a fan of a few, at that!). @@weirdcreature9928 not Mario since it's more well known, but I've seen other letsplayers simply joke about premises and make their own jokes instead of actually playing the game. They don't even read the dialogue, sometimes actively ignoring plot because they can't be arsed. Dan only does this for games he doesn't like or games where he finds fun/entertainment in stuff other than the plot, which is why we love that he only plays games he enjoys. A select few... Just don't care.

its strange to see people so strongly dislike the flowers considering i love them so much also the final final stage is very long this video makes it look so short i went in with 99 lives and after a few hours, 40 something lives, and everyone else either giving up or reaching the end i finally got there also if every person leaves the level but you new ghost players join and i dont know if theyre real people or not once they get enough ahead of you or you die they dissapear

You know, after seeing you do the rhythm sections of this game and playing all those other rhythm games, I think you'd like a game called Hi-fi Rush. It feels like it'd be right up your alley, with the humor of the game matching you very well. I think you'd have a blast.
