What a great video. This is THE a video for really getting excited about the capabilities of pigments. Really well-explained.

@Maximus Lockhart 200€ without sales, 100€ at the moment if I reckon correctly. Got mine at 70€ when they launched the v2. I feel that this was the best investment I made in my home studio so far.

Absolutely brilliant, I feel like these two videos have expanded my knowledge of Pigments more than any other I've seen, and more than the past year of messing with it has, even. Can't wait to use these techniques in my new songs

I haven't started playing with the Functions yet and barely begun to use the Random and Combinate modulations. But seeing you cross-modulate I can see why you love Pigments! Reminds me of the sonically crazy stuff you get up to with modular synthesis!

Thanks for the tutorial! I tried to follow your lead and do the things you did, but I could not reproduce the patch at first. Then I found out that at 21:35 you are using the wavetable "Fractal Mirror", then suddenly afterwards the whole patch sounds much better, and when you switch back to the wavetable tab at 22:50, you are using the wavetable "LNRK Bass".

This thing has so many modulation options it basically is a modular rig without the wires but most of the connectivity.

Good lord, there is so much going on in there. I first heard of you through Andrew Huang's 4 producers / 1 instrument video recently, so I've been watching a few of your videos today. I have Pigments, but haven't spent much time with it yet. Looks like I should. Thanks, and subscribed.

What midi controller would you recommend, in order to be able to map as many of the knobs/sliders as possible. To save this as a "modular synth" .
