The storm trooper armor distributes the force of the shot. It takes a lethal hit and absorbs enough that it knocks the trooper unconscious. This is also why they will step over downed troopers without concern. While not foolproof you have a good chance of surviving with minor injuries.

I really loved the color coded frames!! it's a really clever and more distinct way to distinguish who is playing. Andy should be blue because he is a ghost, Mike is red for the lust of blood and explosions and Jane is purple as she's the middle ground xD. Anyway keep up the awesome stuff!

Star Wars is overrated. Some of the expanded universe lore is pretty great, but the actual movie canon is pretty standard space opera fanfare without a terribly large amount of unique substance. There's really better things to get into, honestly.

Monday's insanity Well, the original trilogy certainly codified the space opera. But that doesn't really run counter to my point- Star wars might be one of the originals, but so many copies have emerged since then that the original trilogy are no longer in any way unique. And for the record, I only criticised the movie canon. The expanded universe lore IS quite rich (e.g. The old Republic, Clone Wars, novels etc.) but thanks to Disney they're all non-canon now. Which is a damn shame because those were always the best bits of the lore, and the movies are actually quite drab in comparison

The stormtrooper armor is made of plastoid, the wearer doesn't die,the armor absorbs the energy form the blast and disperses it over the surface area saving the persons life but leaving them unconscious for perhaps a few hours. So the armor is useful and needed because its based off of the clone trooper phase 2 armor.

republic clone troopers had the best gear and most training.....stormtroopers were hired grunts that had little training in actual combat and very cheap gear and first order troopers were brainwashed child soldiers.....take your pick

tezla actual Stormtroopers weren't hired, they were volunteers, also a good portion of the reign of the Empire (first 5-10 years) Clone Troopers from the Republic days were still used, they eventually quit using them though, because the Clones aged twice as fast as other troopers.

Hmm...I'm not sure how I feel about these borders. The different coloured names are a nice touch to give us a visual shorthand of whose view we're watching, but the borders feel...a bit much? Kinda makes me feel like I'm watching a screen inside of a screen. Maybe just change the colour of the names? (Also it's weird seeing colous that aren't oxbox green or oxtra purple. I imagine you lot probably had a battle royale over who could claim green that Jane won?)
