20:30 "АПОСНО! НЕ ВИХОА!" Soo cute :) Artega, it's a terribly misspelled phrase with lots of errors and troubles with cyrillic. It is as simple as "Warning! Do not trespass!", but is better translated as "DANGERASS! NOT EXID!" PS: Like any other "Russian" phrase in RA, it sounds very funny (like a mix of lolcat language, schoolboy spelling and ukrainian)
@Nightingale19868 жыл бұрын
I see you guys liked the comment about "Russian" in RA. I'll try to entertain you a bit more then. There is a meme in RA, that became one of the best known "Branch Cranberry" cliches (a term, meaning absurd foreign myths about Russia). At least for oldfag gamers. During soviet briefs in Stalin's cabinet, there are books with cyrillcs on spines: "БРЭТ ЖОПА". Well, the first word is very like to "БРЕД" if you pronounce it belching deeply. The last word translates uniquely and means a rude word for buttocks. If you combine these words, you get "ASS NONSENSE"! I just love that game :)

Watching this really brings back some memories. I always wondered why sometimes buildings and units on the right side of the screen look different compared to my own playing experience. For me, they looked more realistic for some reason. Anyway, I'm so happy to see let's play of this and C&C. I remember trying to find LP of this few years ago and couldn't really find one. So thank you a million times for bringing back some lovely memories. :)

actually, not exactly, ra1 is a prequel to CnC, and one of the original concepts for cnc3 from westwood was to have kane send yuri in time, causing ra2, but then ea happened and it never got there. but so far i doint think anything contradicts it. There is also the theory that connect generals to the world, the anthrax in generals does not act like anthrax, with the instakills and damaging vehicles and it comes in green and blue. the anthrax acts like tiberium, as tiberium does kill instand in gasform, and it corrores vehicles and it comes in green and blue

Westwood had originally planned for RA to be a prequel to the the original C&C, but gave up on that idea for whatever reason between this game and RA2, so they are now two totally different universes.
@MrCronicus12 жыл бұрын
You hear hints about GDI forming in one of the allied campaign cutscenes. Red Alert 1 was always hinted as being the prequel to tiberium dawn EA games jumped the shark when they took over the franchise. Red Alert 2 and 3 are cheese as hell but westwood games did not make them so that does explain some of it.

For one reason and one reason alone, they get attack dogs XD. But but but, the soviets get bears in RA3 o-o Man tanya looks SO different in RA3. Seriously though, westwood had the best writing, they knew it was kind of cheesy, and kind of serious. Absolutely brilliant this game was. And the lore of the red alert universe, is so cool. Lots of convoluted time travelling and such. and tanyas laugh... So iconic! I miss that in RA3

When you think about it. The Soviets were really overpowered in this game. Great units and great defenses.Allied weaponry and defenses were pretty weak by comparison. But I guess the creators wanted to give the impression that the Soviets were really powerful, and could conquer Europe.
@TheCNCChannel9 жыл бұрын
MrRiddleAW That's true, and it's a more realistic depiction of most wars in which one side is a lot more powerful than the other. But in multiplayer games the Allies have a production advantage in terms of tanks, and we usually select Germany instead of Russia/Ukraine in some maps.
@stinger15au9 жыл бұрын
MrRiddleAW true in terms of power, however the allies had speed, mobility and tactical advantages. Id say the allies required more skill to use, while the soviet was more brute force

Just want to start by saying that I super nerd out when it comes to the earlier c&c games. I do not understand why you think so highly of attack dogs. Perhaps I will see in a later video. I will agree that the soviets have more advantages over the allies. Also, if I am not mistaken the timeline is cannon to the tiberian universe if the allies win. If the soviets win it is only cannon to the red alert universe. The Americans technically never got involved with the war in red alert 1 if I am not mistaken. I personally liked the commandos from commands of command and conquer better than Tonya. What they said and they they said things were more entertain to me. I got nothing against Tonya. If there is one thing the allies have over the soviets its their navy due alone to the cruisers. They are bamf. If your enemy anywhere even slightly close to a shore, bring two in and the whole shore could be obliterated in a very short time, crippling if not destroying your enemy. You can even keep them well out of range of even V2s while attacking the base. I . . . love them 0.o Ya I never got ore either. It grows!? What? Actually the allies use sandbags. I cant blame you English, tea is yummy. Your inexperience is indeed showing. Better shape up! The allies have pillboxes, camopillboxes and turrets. The soviets have flametowers and telsa coils.
