LADY LOVE DIES "INVESTIGATION FREAK" IS ON THE CASE
Paradise is an island that regenerates every few millennia. The psychic power that the alien worshipers within release into the universe is meant to feed and eventually resurrect their fallen deities. But this force also attracts undesired interest from demons, who eventually corrupt each island - until a new alternate reality is birthed by the Council.
The system isn’t perfect, but it will be one day - on Perfect 25, the next island-to-be. But on the eve of rebirth, the Council is murdered and Paradise is killed.
In the aftermath, the “investigation freak” Lady Love Dies is summoned from exile to find the culprit. This is the crime to end all crimes.
What are the facts? What are the truths? Are they the same?
BREATH LIFE BACK INTO PARADISE
You are tasked with finding the killer and building an airtight case against them. Take your case to trial and argue your interpretation of the evidence. Only when someone is successfully convicted can the crime be considered solved and Paradise be saved.
FACT AND TRUTH ARE NOT THE SAME
The “truth” is that there are many possible killers, and many ways to build a case. Even if you make a convincing case for prosecution and get someone convicted, is the mystery really solved?

Paradise is an island set in an alternate future history filled with cryptic lore and even more mysteries. Examine bizarre relics to learn more about this world’s surreal history.
FIND YOUR PARADISE
You choose who to accuse, and build a case to support conviction. Everyone on Paradise has a secret to hide and something to gain. Old friends become new suspects, forcing you to choose between the evidence, the greater good and your own beliefs. There are many possible murderers, but who you pick will define your own personal truth.
GATHER EVIDENCE
Let your personal computer and electronic assistant Starlight be your guide through another dance of an investigation. Collect evidence, record testimony and interpret the facts to form your own truth.
UNLOCK HIDDEN AREAS
Solve hieroglyph puzzles on ancient nightmare computers to discover new areas of the island, find concealed evidence and reveal terrifying secrets.

There's some reason to believe that originally labyrinth didn't mean maze, it was just a type of temple. That theory's not confirmed, but it's not debunked either. We only have confirmation that labyrinth = maze from 700BCE on, and the legend has been around since over 1000BCE

My protohistory teacher in university taught us that it was because of how labyrinthian the palace of Knossos is, because of how it was built organically, by just adding room after room as the family grew over the centuries. Mix that with the chthonic gods that were worshiped in Creta, you got yourself the horned god of the labyrinth of Creta. I mean, "labrys" literally means double-bladed axe, which the people of Creta used to shape like horns of a bull (rather than how the bearded axes look with their blades dropping towards the hilt). It's all kind of related.

4:24 - Okay, so I'm a little late to this but Satanism actually uses a lot of old alchemical symbols. For instance, the "4" is actually the symbol for tin (and I believe it's associated with Jupiter?), the cross with the horned circle on top of it is the symbol for Mercury. I couldn't see the other symbol clearly enough to say what it was.

Talking about names... it appears that "Shinji" means "true ruler"... Also, it appears that the phrase "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" originated in 2003... and here I though it was a far older phrase... Pink blood? what's this... Danganropa?? 58:05... HARDCORE PARCOUR! 1:03:45... yeah, insulting people in different languages is an important skillset

Two fingers up on a backwards hand isn't considered to be flipping someone off in the US. I guess it's a problem in the UK, since I remember the Left 4 Dead 2 hand had to be rotated overseas because the US version was a flip off.

@@KeithBallardA yeah, in the U.K. two fingers means the same thing as the single familiar you’re familiar with in the US, they’re pretty much interchangeable here; may be mistaken but I think it’s the same in other parts of the Commonwealth too.
