Also, sorry to hear your broke your leg. Dynamax lasts 3 turns, each type has a max move. Max strike is the normal dynamax move. Also you could have dynamaxed your pokemon in the gym battle. Just select the dynamax button next to the moves. Also, I do think yamper is a good electric type to have on your team. If your wanting a good fire type, centiscorch, you caught the pre Evo in a battle on route 3, trainer had one and Dottler. Just 2 pokemon iv used on my team almost every play through of gen 8
