Hello everyone, I'd just like to point out that I'm wearing a new jumper in this video. It's from France! -Chris

It's a very nice jumper.

You should insist that everybody call it a sauteur instead of a jumper.

You know this got me thinking about the recent cuphead "controversy" like by all intents and purposes this is, just like that cuphead video, a video of a journalist being terrible at a game, "what's different here then?" I questions "why did everybody go crazy about that one but not this one?", I started thinking about other cases of that, I thought about that DOOM video from polygon, I started wondering what those things had in common, and then it hit me, it's because of the fact that the other video was silent, there was no commentary, no facecam, nothing, but you guys, you're here, and just by being here, by being visible, by being audible, you're changing the context of the video, we're no longer here to laugh at someone who's bad at a game, we're here to laugh with someone who's bad at a game, and it makes sense really, having a silent video with just the footage of someone being bad at a game creates, as many things in the internet, a barrier of artificiality, it removes you from the experience and makes it a lot more easier to criticize, but by adding the human element, empathy comes into play, now, by seeing humans react to the experience, you can relate, and think back at your own experiences, at those times you and your friends that are absolute crap at smash got together and still played the game for hours because it was bloody fun, or at that time you button mashed all your way through a platinum game despite not understanding more than the basic mechanics because it looks so bloody cool, and when you start to relate you start to get it, you get the fun the other person's having and start sharing that fun, so now instead of being angry, you're having fun

Also Johnny could finish the tutorial

I know this is years late, but the other difference between this and the Cuphead video that Johnny didn't spend minutes straight wondering "how do I throw my weapon?" when the game wasn't just telling him how, but literally never stopped telling him how.

I love you guys even more! You're the only KZbinrs I've seen that's actually waited and watched the real time footage at the end of the levels! Tricky my ass at the hallway.

I'm only 12 minutes in, so it's possible you guys have figured it out by the end of the video, but the trick is to go WAAAAAY slower than you are right now. It seems like Johnny's FPS instincts keep kicking in and he tries to rush the person he's fighting, or quickly dodge a shot. That's not how this game works - everything you do, you have to do super slow and calculated. It's true that time does move even when you're standing still, but it's so slow that 9 times out of 10 you can just stop, look around, have a think, decide what to do, and only then execute (slowly).

I've seen Ian play this in PSVR and it caused him to nearly explode with rage. I also love your new jumper, Chris, it's very nice.

Watching Johnny strafing his way down that corridor in the third scenario put me very much in mind of the dance from Thriller. Which, as a (literally) faceless guard-mook in (what I assume to be) an evil corporation, would be a terrifying thing to behold only moments before your death.

Doing the terrible thing of posting without looking at other or being any where near the end of the video. Just wanted to say. Shame you didn't do Superhot VR. Tbf, the gimmick is fine without VR but it is SO GOOD in that format.

This is a game that *really* benefits from analogue sticks to get finer speed control

Superhot reminds of Mirrors Edge in that the second/third playthrough is probably going to be a lot better, because you won't be crap at it this time.

What happens when you take the time pressure off of Johnny? I present exhibit A. Johnny finds a way. I enjoy you guys so much that I'm going through your old playlists. But I'll admit that I stopped watching just to listen to the two of you. Come for the Players, stayed for the... Players of course; this is Eurogamer.

I really loved this game but it gets absolutely nails towards the end, never managed to complete it. Gotta applaud it for its innovation and the interesting if flawed meta-narrative stuff.

Hey guys, love the vid, it was hilarious! I have one quick question, Johnny: I love (and so does my young brother) your cat burglar t-shirt and I would be so grateful if I knew where to get one. I'd love to buy him one for Christmas (we have 3 cats and he thinks your shirt is so damn cool). Could you tell me where I can get one please? I just cannot find one here in the States and have not been able to find it... I love the LTTP videos, they ate beyond amazing! Thanks and keep up the awesome content!

Are you okay, Chris? You've had a terrible cough for months now... I've heard and seen it in other Eurogamer videos, and it has me worried... Are you sick, is there something wrong, or are you just a pot-head? Hahaha I'm just kidding, in all seriousness though, are you alright? As I said, I've heard that cough from you for months now...
