There's aging options in The Sims 4 though. You can set it so it only ages the currently played household, and you can extend the lifespan of all sims. The lifespan setting isn't as extensive as in The Sims 3 (which literally had sliders for it) what with there only being a short, normal and extended option, but it'll probably fix your problem.

I'm 13 and statred playing Sim when I was 5, I have the deluxe version of Sims 1 and 2, I have almost all the expansion packs of sims 3 and a couple of stuff packs and the sims 4, the sims is literally my life

I must have been... About 10 years old when playing this? Possibly a bit younger, and I remember my Sim lost his job, couldn't get him another one thanks to the notification: 'Your Sim is too unhappy for this'. Honestly for about 7 Sim days while he was slowly starving to death I thought that he was just sad that he had gotten fired. Hadn't quick clicked that I needed to feed him and put him to bed to make him happy. I was not a smart child.

I like to imagine that Colonel Kentucky isn't actually hearing James telling him what to do, because it then it means he's absent minded but suddenly remembers things hours later. Like he takes a crap and forgets to flush, only to suddenly remember hours later that he forgot to flush, and then quickly run to flush XD.

even though i was born after the sims was released it was my childhood. my Aunt owned the game and 2 expansion packs.I remember getting my first laptop, I had played on other computers and such but this one was my my very first to own. (a windows vista laptop loaded with 7 a hand me down of course) around 9 and played the sims on it up until when i was around 11. everyday after I came home from school, i would play the sims. it was like 2012 and i mean 3 was already out but my laptop could not handle it and let alone i didn't have the money to buy it. so there i was playing the first sims game on my crappy laptop trying to build extreme houses. ahh the memories.

I only ever had three expansion packs of the original sims 3 games, so never knew what the other expansions did. The graphics have changed so much with Sims 2 & 3 and you never notice the difference until you go and watch it on KZbin... although, it does seem as if they gave up on speed in the later versions.

ah yes, Sims 1. The game which I played as a kid. The game in which I let my sims have a child which turned out to be an annoying brat. But luckily I found a solution - I bought a swimming pool, let the kid in and sold the ladders. After the deed was done I sold the urn using a cheat and all memories of that kid were gone.

I remember getting sims1 with all expansions for a Bday gift when I was really young. It was awesome. And after a while I tried Sims2 at our friends' house and boy did it feel like an upgrade! (more stuff to build with, bigger, more connected world and great graphics)

If you haven’t built a wall around your character with no lights or doors to get out and waited until they’ve wet themselves and then died then you just has not lived! Just kidding. I know I’m still a child (I’m 13) but I remember when I was little and I think I told my mom I wanted sims 3 and she said she had sims 1. I didn’t know what it was but I was so excited! I loved the sims 1 and my mom said if I get it I won’t like it because it’s “boring” now compare to all the new sims that come out. Sims 3 is my favorite. Never been a fan of sims 2 for some reason. I love watching sims 2 stories on KZbin tho, those are better than any other sims stories. But I’ve always enjoyed sims 1 it was so fun!
