Baldur's boss fights were so amazing. It felt so cool fighting against someone who was Kratos' size that could keep up with him, tho a bit faster and not quite as strong. Most enemies that can compete with Kratos in this game were HUGE so it was really neat and unique to fight him.

Two thoughts. 1. If you finish the story and go back for a second playthrough, or a new game plus, the context of the entire story changes, even more if you know enough about Norse mythology to spot the bread crumbs. With all that known, it makes the second run very interesting. It's a great way to give the game more life. 2. That aside glance when Kratos says 'He would not listen' was perfect for a laugh. Like he's saying 'this is what you are here for', but at the same time he's making sure Atreus is safe and hidden. One could also see it as him apologizing to Faye as he has to fight someone near their home, a place a father's very presence is meant to keep safe. The developers went above and well beyond to redefine God of War without disrespecting the last titles. We, the fans, have grown up, and now, so has the God of War.
