I read my first Nancy Drew a couple years ago. I can’t say that I particularly enjoyed book 1, but I’d love to give book 2 a try.

Okay, I'm in. I'll commit to the first ten-ish books total. They only take a couple hours to read even with lots of interruptions, so it shouldn't be a big deal.

I'm currently reading the Hardy Boys series for the first time. I'm on book 23. Some of them aren't the best, but they always give me a warm nostalgic feeling and make me laugh.

I’m so excited for this group read! I never read any of these type of books as a child but my hubby got me an old copy of a Brenda Starr book. Did you see that movie from the 80s with Brooke Shields and Timothy Dalton? It’s a fave of mine so he found a book from the 50s on eBay for me. The pages are really yellowed but I like having a vintage book.

I'm looking forward to this Mitzi! Now, should I read my copy that's vintage or get those new covers by Sabrina Gabrielli... Also, I've got to set up Voxer. It asks for my First and Last name --- but after signing up is there a place to make a handle -- or do you just do that in the First/Last Name section?

your name is just so they know you're a real person and basic info. Then you add a handle that will show up when we chat. Like stampincass would work since that's what you use here. Hope that makes sense! Also, I have the old vintage Nancy, so I'm going to make sure I let everyone know that's what I'm reading, but we can help each other out if there are differences.
