Those white pop off covers that you said were for cables is meant for the add on bracket for haed drives. You buy them separately. So the case can handle 6 3.5 drives.

I know this in an old build but I have a very similar setup with my AIO cooling system in the front like you have. My question is are you pushing the air from the case through the radiator out the front or pulling it from the front through the radiator into the case? Top and case fans set to exhaust?
@Adamant_IT
@Adamant_IT 4 жыл бұрын
Pulling in through the front, exhausting out the back/top. Airflow direction makes very little difference to a case, as long as there's actually a direction.
@mato12348
@mato12348 3 жыл бұрын
Thats exactly what I struggling about... AIO radiator is heat exchanger, and heat should go out of the computer, not into computer...so for me sounds like bullshit pulling hot air in when it's need cold air... In my optinion it will be better fit 120mm aio on back as exhaust and fans on front as intake, for bigger radiator get different case. If I'm wrong, please let me know

How do you feel about the airflow, specifically the front panel? I have an enthoo evolv matx tower and I have been very dissapointed with the cooling, thing is a straight hot box. Seems like this one would be a bit better but some people say it its still pretty bad, again the front panel specifically. Only reason I am comtemplating the meshify c by fractal design over this case.
@TheKymysysmerkki

Jonathan Manieri Front panel closed h115i aio liquid temps while gaming 40c (pretty loud due high fan speeds) and if i take front panel off liquid temps drops to 34c (this is the quiet mode when you can actualy use computer without earmuffs 😅)
@wnose

I've read of heat buildup issues. Some users use the top and back as intakes, and the front as exhaust. They also flip the power supply so that it sucks out from the interior.

Any ideas on adding extra fans? mine get loud under load.. maybe an extra 120mm in front? or put two 140mm's in front for intake and use stock fan for rear top exhaust?
@TakeThis_L
@TakeThis_L 6 жыл бұрын
Adamant IT okay thank you, the reason why I want to do this is because I have oc’d my gpu and it gets too loud. It’s a pretty standard build I was thinking fans would bring in more airflow and keep it cooler but maybe not, I’ll have to invest in some quieter fans then cause gpu will run too hot if I throttle the fans.

How effective is the noise dampening foam/sheet when under full load in a gaming session? I need a quiet case for a system that will be right next to me on my desk and it's between this, nzxt h440 and be quiet pure base 600. Current case is a corsair 230t and it sounds like a jet engine when gaming due to no sound dampening whatsoever.

Great video. I've owned this case for about 4 months now and I love it. It's worth mentioning, however, that the included RGB light strip is not standard. An adapter was required to utilize my on board RGB controller on my motherboard (not a huge deal, $5 on Amazon). There definitely is plenty of space in here, perfect for a reservoir which will be my next addition.

Hi Adam, using this case for a first build with asus z370-a mobo and i7-8700k chip. I basically have one fan on the rear for exhaust that I plugged into the top right of mobo and will water cool with the same corsair H100i v2 you used or close to it. Where did you plug the serial controller cable into that you showed in your vid? I've already plugged the 3 I/o cables into the bottom right of my mobo for pwr, reset & led so not sure I need that serial connector? Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks, Paul

@hugy 7 жыл бұрын
well infact... you should probably stick with only 1 outtake. you wanna create positive pressure inside your case so that dust doesnt get in. With that in mind, you're better of with two intakes (your AIO) and only one outtake (behind the case)
@ZodeeRL
@ZodeeRL 7 жыл бұрын
Hugy Yeah but I've tried that, I rather clean it than putting my gpu in thermal throttle. And yes, the negative air pressure lowers my gpu temp compared to the other options :)

Huge flaw with the 3.5" Drive bays, the bottom screw alignment nub and side nubs in the "2nd position" prevent you installing NAS drives, Just installed an 8TB NAS in mine, and had to butcher it by hacking the 3 aforementioned nubs off, without doing so you simply can not re-insert the bay back into the case. Was a bit of a pain, but being little bits of plastic you can hack off with a Stanley knife/scalpel means it's not the end of the world. (really irked me though). That issue aside, I agree it is quite a splendid case (:

I saw a comparison on the temps between the P400A which is the airflow version of this case with a mesh front, and the difference was about 1-2 degrees farenheit. The video was either by Greg Salazar or HardwareCanucks if you want to find it. Seems fine, I'm gonna get this case in a month or two so I'll try and remember to let you know how the temps hold up.

Why on earth would you have the fans on the radiator on the inside? You would def want the fans on the other side, so it pulls cold air on the radioator, not hot air from within the case.
